I just read elsewhere that OPKs don't always work after a m/c because of all the crazy hormones we have in our system - it said you can get both false positives and false negatives. I guess in the end maybe my temperature will be the only thing that will tell me whether or not I've O'd for sure. If I still have these crazy O symptoms tonight, I think we might as well dtd again to keep our bases covered. I'm on CD 17 now and pre-m/c I always O'd between CD12 and CD16.
Hey - this may be too personal, but did you find you produced more ewcm than usual the cycle after your m/c? I seem to be, and I suppose it's kind of in accord with the idea that you are super fertile immediately after a m/c....

I say DEFINITELY DTD tonight!!! You are so right about the OPKs...Temping is waaaay more accurate regardless of post-m/c or not.
Okay...TMI but I've always had gobbs of EWC, even on the diet. When I conceived last time, I had the most EWC I'd ever seen during the cycles I'd been paying attention to. This last O, I still had lots of EWC but not as much as that last time. I also quit checking pH back in early May (I think) since it just wouldn't ever go down...even w/diet.
I'm procrastinating eating lunch b/c I'm too lazy to make it....Going to but the boys down for a nap and then figure something out. I never feel hungry anymore until I start eating...Then my stomach says, "Oh, yeah...FOOD!!!". If I ever come into a lot of $$$, I'm going to hire a personal chef to make me yummy, healthy food!Jen+ DH

I've always had lots too - I always figured that's why I have 3 boys. However, on the last two cycles on the diet it was finally changing and becoming more watery/creamy at O. That was only after about 4 months strictly on the diet, though, and the antihistamines probably had something to do with it too!
Maybe I don't actually have more ewcm than my old 'normal' - it's just been a while since I've seen it, and I've certainly never had this much but still only been getting very faint OPKs. It's very frustrating!
I did another HPT today because that very faint BFP on the FRER last night made me nervous. I didn't use an IC this time, but I did use another brand of 'early' storebought tests. It was a BFN (phew!). Hopefully the little bit of HCG that was in my system last night is gone now.
I'm the same way...with lunch at least. Once I have my coffee, my stomach is satisfied for a looong time. I usually feed my kids lunch before I even think about what I'm going to eat. Although at least on this diet, the options are so limited that there isn't much decision-making at play - I pretty much have either rice and yogurt or salad every day for lunch. Today I mixed things up: I had rice and yogurt with spinach mixed into it and called it a warm spinach salad!

I just made myself feel a lot better by looking back at my old charts. On the past two cycles I conceived (both my angel baby and ds3), I had up to 6 days of ewcm and SHOW cervix before O - with my angel baby the cm turned to watery, but not until O-day (and only after taking antihistamines). I think I need to be a little more patient and maybe O will come a few days from now - yesterday was only my first day of ewcm.

I hope you O soon Mocha. I too have the most EWCM 4 or 5 days before I O and it's almost disappeared by O day. Did you get your blood test results back?

I haven't heard about the blood test results yet - if I don't hear anything tomorrow I might call the doctor's office to follow up.
I don't know why I'd forgotten about the days of ewcm leading up to O, and it was always worst on the months I actually conceived. Probably not a coincidence - those must have been my most fertile months. Hopefully this early, abundant ewcm is a good sign that this is a very fertile month too.
Z - did the antihistamines keep your ewcm in check? I had both zyrtec and benedryl last night and it didn't seem to make a bit of difference.

I don't remember too well but I'm pretty sure I still had at least some. I had lots around 4 days before (we were at Legoland and I was worried I would O while we were away!) but I don't think I had loads the day before/day of O because I was surprised to get an early +OPK. This is probably TMI but I had a BM the night before our attempt and that expelled quite a lot of EWCM - so even though I didn't have tonnes of visible EWCM, it was obviously still there internally (although I like to think I squeezed it all out
).

Ahhhh - now I don't know what the heck is going on. Last night, right before bed, my ewcm stopped and now I'm bleeding again (with a tiny bit of ewcm mixed in). The blood is different this time, though - not brown like the tail end of my m/c bleeding. It's just like a very light af - I even have some mild af cramps. There's no way this could be af, is there? I only had my m/c 18 days ago and just stopped spotting 3 days ago. Normally af comes between cd26 and 28...
Boy, when people warned me my cycle would be messed up after m/c they weren't kidding!

I went back and checked, and I would actually characterise this as bloody ewcm (too stretchy and slippery to be blood) - kind of like I had 2 days ago when I started showing O symptoms. Only a drop or two actually make it to my pad, so I guess it's not heavy enough to be my period. Anyone ever heard of bloody ewcm after miscarriage before? DH and I didn't dtd last night because of the blood.
