Maiden, sounds like you can do some targeted visualizing! If you have the funds, I suggest you try a sperm bank. You could totally shop for the traits you want. I know you said you like to see the person. Maybe they could show you a video? Or maybe they have special donors who are willing to meet? It doesn't hurt to ask and look into it. Honestly I'm wondering why you want df's genes in your offspring since he's been so difficult to deal with. How much of personality is hereditary? Environment is a big factor and providing a loving home is great, but you're still going to have some underlying personality factors. Anyway, you complain about getting older, so maybe it's time to try a different tactic and do a donor with iui or ivf? That's my 2 cents. Best wishes for whatever you choose! lol at the mobile chase lounge -- How about a cruise ship?

Good to see you again, LacePrincess! So what are your best ttc a boy tips for those of us trying to sway blue?

Taytum, sounds like you're gearing up for a good o, hang in there!

I should be starting the 2ww now, but no crosshairs from ff yet. So I'll probably wait to test on March 17th -- hope to catch a little leprechaun, lol!

    Thanks for the welcome!

Hmm, blue sway tips....ok worry about everything. Obsess, obsess, obsess. Be super anal about your whole sway. Be competitive as heck about EVERYTHING, bring out your inner type A! Eat oatmeal, cereal, lots of meat, quite a bit of takeout burgers! Exercise a little bit but not too much, and being a bit overweight helps too. Eat red meat and lots of healthy fish, snack lots. Develop an anxiety disorder? Ok that one might be going too far, LOL.

Hey and my DS1's bday is on March 17, so maybe that'll be a lucky blue day for you?

Lace, I definitely recommend vaginal temping! I find it so much more impervious to external factors. Your chart continues to look gorgeous!

Taytum, I know how you feel. Bc of the whole situation with DF especially, I'm so anxious until I'm SURE I've Oed bc I don't want to miss O or have my one attempt be poorly timed. Plus since I O late but have a short LP, waiting to O takes twice as long as the wait for AF. Would you say your libido is higher than DH's or is he just stressed during the week?

I was REALLY hoping to see your temp spike today, darn. Are you still getting lots of fertile CM?

I checked my cervix this morning right before BD and it felt lower, firm and closed & my CM is definitely drying up, so I think I most likely did O, but BDed again anyway just after 10am. That makes me feel better in case my temp is off. Even with the cold house, my temp could be artificially high from lack of sleep. Time to take a little nap snuggled next to the space heater...

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Thanks maiden! I'm pretty used to good looking charts that fall off a cliff by 9-10DPO, so meh, totally not getting hopeful, far too early yet.

I usually do temp vaginally, don't know why I didn't this cycle. I think because my post-FET AF was sooooooo bad that I was just icked out by the thought even after AF was tapering off. I will switch for the next time though.

Yay for O signs!! Sounding good for you....my CP is usually the first and most reliable sign of O for me though it's not a sure thing it's pretty reliable.

LacePrincess: thanks for the blue sway tips! I feel like I have the obsession thing down pat! I need to eat more red meat - we eat a lot of chicken and pork. I love red meat, just seems like with DH's diet and until it's grilling season we eat more light meat. But, I'll work on it! I agree too your chart has a great climb! FX for you!

Maiden: It's kind of crazy how reassuring BDing is when it's close to O. Then you can almost give a sigh of relief and go about regular business. I feel so anxious when BDing close to O. I definitely think yours is a good temp spike and shows O clearly. Now on to the 2WW!

I think I probably have more libido than DH; he's just always so stressed out and tired after work during the week. And with me finishing my master's I have class at nights or a lot of homework so we're both usually pretty beat during the week. On the weekends we always are able to get more in, but obviously O doesn't always fall on the weekends haha.

CM still seems pretty slippery, but moving back to creamy. Today I have more intense, sharp on/off cramps just on the right side. We'll probably take tonight off, but hopefully get one in tomorrow and Sunday. Do you think it could just be a slow rise?

My experience with slow rise charts is O is often delayed. I would keep BDing until you get that nice rise.

Hi ladies, hope everyone is hanging in there. I really hope our group gets a ton of BFPs and DG's will be icing on the cake. Went to the RE this morning for follow up clomid use. I have 4 on my right ovary and none on my left. Going back on Monday for rescan/BW. If I get a +OPK before then, need to decide if we'll attempt. So, I'm assuming that the most we would end up with is quads??

Yikes, you REALLY DON'T want to risk higher order multiples!! The consequences are pretty risky.

And I'm glad you're getting monitored but don't you have instructions from your RE? Most are pretty cautious when it comes to risking multiples and I would think if you actually had all 4 that looked like they were ovulating they'd be telling you NOT to attempt, it's too dangerous. Though most likely what will happen is your follies will self-reduce so only 1-2 are really mature to ovulate.

just spoke to RE again because she got my blood work back. she said only one follicle is big enough to ovulate at this point. but, my estrogen level is high and can "support" all of the follicles. wants me back on monday to resize
