We have decided not to get the NIPT test.
It's been a nightmare trying to arrange it (the clinic cancelled 3 times), and we are really more concerned to know about DS.
Which I have a NHS scan for on Thursday, it seems silly to pay £500 for an NIPT test when we can get a scan for free.
Also I am too nervous to find out gender.
My hubbie really wants a girl, I love our son so so much, and I can see myself with 2 boys, but hubbie has 3 boys....and I do feel a bit of pressure to give him a girl.

I can completely see why you don’t want to pay that money if your main concern would likely be diagnosed by the NHS testing. Are you going to stay team yellow or do you think you’ll find out? Have you spoken to hubby about feeling a bit pressured? Will this be your last? When’s your my scan? Maybe you’ll see a nub if it’s scheduled for near the 13 week point.

I keep obsessing about nubs and I’m driving myself crazy as I just know it’s too early to even analyse my pictures reliably. I feel so anxious. Got a gender scan booked in at 15+1 but the website says from 16 weeks. Do you think they will know if I fib with my dates and pretend I’m a bit further on? I know some places scan from 15 weeks so didn’t see it mattering too much..

I'm waiting for my NIPT results. Even though we did IVF, I'm super worried that they put the wrong embryo in or got the gender wrong. Tomorrow will be exactly 1 week from the blood draw. I'm so nervous!!

Bobster, I don't think they'll notice your dates. You should be fine.

Don't be nervous, I'm sure there are lots of procedures in place to make sure that doesn't happen.

Yes last baby.
Just had our nuchal fold scan, looks great but waiting for the bloods back.
The lady asked if we would find out gender at 20 weeks, I told we had done Ramzi and it was boy and right last time.
She said....."Ramzi is a bit of a theory, but actually I agree. Looks like a boy!"
I honestly felt fine, just so relived and happy that he's healthy.
Hubby will have to deal with it ��

What gestation were you Mrs sparkles?? From reading further into nub theory I don’t know how reliable it really is as loads of girly nubs end up as boys. Your baby has such a cute profile. Was she looking at the nub when she said that? My sonographer said boys and girls look exactly the same at 12 weeks so she said they wouldn’t be able to tell. What a lovely picture you have! Congrats

Do you think that thin line protruding from the bottom is the nub? Looks flat if it is but can’t see if there’s stacking as the leg is in the way. Glad you feel ok I bet i’ll be an emotional wreck when they say boy. I’m really dreading it

13+3 days.
She had a little look at his undercarriage as she called it.
I didn't really see much, but she was like I do think the Ramzi was right again for you.
It's so silly, I know it is not logical, but does seem to be right alot.

I didn't see a nub, but the skull looks blocky like last time.

I am sure it will be hard if you hear the opposite, I was devastated the last time.
But now I kind of feel at peace, hope you hear what you want though !!!!
