Rainbow I think that new attitude sounds great, and I was me that said you can choose how you react to things but please don't think that means you aren't allowed to have a period of wallowing, bitchyness, being sad, grumpy, crying or smashing things! Everyone is allowed to grieve and be less than their perfect self for a while with GD, and even a number of times. Everything is allowed! A goal to pick yourself up and get on with it with positivity is always a lovely goal, but don't feel you aren't allowed time to process it.
Can't wait for materni21 results, at least they are definite!

Sorry your feeling down Rainbow:-( I really do think that is one huge nub for 11 weeks so it is very possible it could be something else. I agree that you should just forget what you saw and wait hopefully for your results. I think you still have a 50/50 shot at a girl:-) Fingers X for you!

Rainbow-don't be hard on yourself. Your DH can take it I'm sure. Feeling sad and upset are totally normal feelings. I totally understand your feeling of limbo right now. It's actually probably making you more anxious. You want something really bad and now you have to wait to see What the results are! Anyone would be on edge till they got Some answers! Although I really think you have a chance for a girl! Come here to vent, we are ready! Hugs to you!

Rainbow, so sorry you have been feeling down. I am quite sure that we can all relate to that
I LOVE your new attitude about everything, though and I am impressed with your strength and positivity. Honestly, that is kind of where I am at with things to. After a loss in February, I just feel blessed to be pregnant again and this baby, whether boy or girl, will change our life in the most amazing way.
As far as the emotions, I am with you sister, I freaked out on DH today who just returned home from an all weekend bachelor party - must be nice. Thank God this is one of our last friends to get married but chasing a 21 month old around while feeling super sick and exhausted (not to mention emotional) was not my idea of a relaxing weekend that my body needed so much. I cannot wait to be out of the first trimester. And DH knows he definitely isn't getting another weekend away any time soon
Good luck and know we're all thinking of you!

Emily - OMG, your scan!!! Can't wait to hear! FX for pink!
You ladies are all amazing. Thank you SO much for your encouragement. I am feeling better, and so far trying to stay positive, knowing my outcome could easily go the opposite way I want it to. Just remembering that this little one is meant to be!
You are also all right that I still have a 50/50 chance. 11 wks is sooo early. FWIW, I think I found the nub within the "nub." It doesn't show up on the pic I posted here, but in my printout, there's a long, skinny, flat, forked nub underneath the pointy end of the giant "nub." It's faint, but it is there, no doubts. Took me awhile to see it. At this gestation, it does NOT mean it's a girl. It just means there's still a chance.
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!

Ugh....
TMI warning, but I am having a horrible time with diarrhea.
I have a doctor's appt Wed & plan to mention it to him, but it's so bad, I've lost 6 lbs in the time I've become pregnant....not that I couldn't afford to lose weight, but still.
I hope this goes away soon!!!
Anybody else dealing with this??Proud mom of 3 sweet boys...
