lol thanks girls! I'm definitely up for the 3 hour round trip but DH isn't keen. I'm sure I'll get around him...I hope :P The idea of staying team green appealed to me several weeks ago but I find the closer I get to my 13 weeks scan this Thursday the more antsy I am and its just confirmed that I am most assuredly team yellow for now lol. I don't know how I could wait, the shock on DS1 wasn't a surprise. I couldn't face that twice, regardless of being at peace with another boy I need to know asap! I'm really hopeful I'll get a decent nub shot on Thursday, I've scoured through the U/S prediction forum and read the stickys so I think I know what to look for but obviously I'd love to share with the experts here

Hopper I would also do the 3hr trip, the gender scan I have booked in is about the same, but I may end up cancelling if I get a convincing nub shot and just wait till my routine 18-20wk scan. I tried to book my nt scan for tomorrow also but had to wait till next wk! Good luck with yours I hope you get a great nub shot for us all to guess on [emoji4]

@hopper: it's true that a great nub shot can help a lot. I had around 60 girl guesses (or more) on mine. But I can assure you it didn't really convince me I was carrying a girl. I just thought it could never happen to me. So I really needed the gender scan to get my mind at ease. I'm crossing my fingers for the greatest nub shot ever

Mamacass: the same for you a perfect nub shot would be great!

I agree Fiya, I think i would only cancel if my nub looks very boyish, if it looks girly I will definitely need the earlier gender scan to put my mind at ease I think lol

Thank you xxx I am so anxious about getting a nub shot girls, I just need to either quell this gosh darned hope altogether or add fuel to it lol. That dream last night messed with my head. I was 95% sure boy before it but all day today I'm like "I have as much chance as anyone" I don't think I can afford to think like that though...

I had my dating scan done today, it was only at 11 weeks so too early for a nub shot to be accurate, but I will put a pic up anyway just for fun it was so good to see our little bean jumping around in there, everything looked good, so that makes me feel a great deal of relief and happiness.

Fx hopper. I wish i had got a good nub shot but when the sonographer said likely boy (after an 80% girl guess) i kinda lost hope and didn't think to ask for the pic of the nub shot when guessed boy.
