OOH my GOODNESS - Congratulations to our ladies with babies! YAY! That is so exciting! I am so happy for you all! I cannot wait to be in your shoes holding my baby.

Csection scheduled for me at 37 weeks - that is the absolutely latest they will let me go and of course I am terrified that it is too early. I am also terrified of the csection itself even though many of you have helped to calm some worries. Has anyone had a baby at 37 weeks? Healthy? Trouble breathing or nursing?

Thinking of ALL of you, I cannot believe our turns are finally here! (WELL, some of us anyway...many still have some wait time ).

onthepond - I think 37 weeks is generally just fine to deliver. Baby will be just fine!

Hey Ladies,

I'll try and post a pic at some point but we're home from the hospital and his brothers are completely obsessed! We feel perfectly complete and I wouldn't have it any other way. We prayed like crazy to get pregnant with this baby and that it would be exactly what was meant for our family and we are SO in love! His name is Cape Sterling Dash

Can't wait to hear the rest of the birth announcements and see all these sweet little girls about to join some of your all boy fams So excited for you ladies getting you DD - what a crazy special moment that's going to be! xo

B&G-yay for being at home!!! That's so sweet the boys are enjoying baby brother! I am sure they are so excited for their new best friend!!!! I LOVE his name!!!!!! Congratulations again!!!!! Onthepond please don't worry about the 37 weeks, that is very safe for baby, given they deliver perfectly normal pregnancies and babies at 38 weeks when you need a planned csection I can't imagine one single week will be detrimental. I was born 4 weeks early and left hospital in a couple of days, with no issues whatsoever other than being put in a humidity crib for 8hrs, they soon realised I was healthy and fine and let me out! I was breastfed and mum never had any issues with that, I was small, only 4 pounds 5 but totally healthy and gained weight quickly after birth. I am absolutely sure 37 weeks is safe. I know quite a few babies born at 36 and 37 weeks that you would never know. Some were bigger than babies that went to term!
