I haven't taken any pics yet either. With first son we took them weekly, second son a few from maybe week 15 or something... this time I haven't even thought about it!
I have been quite worried last few weeks. I think I felt baby moving a few weeks ago but haven't felt anything this last week, and last night I had such a terrible dream (again) about loosing the baby. I know they are not recommended but I just freaked out and bought a doptone today. I just needed confirmation of baby being alive. It was pretty hard to find the heartbeat, but after what seemed like ages (even DH got a bit nervous!) it was there! So great to hear it!Gorgeous4

I have a Doppler, and I love it for reassurance. It's weird, I've been fairly laid back this pregnancy, instead of the nervous wreck I usually am. But it's great on those occasions where I feel a little concerned. The heartbeat usually takes me a bit to find, but I've been finding it since about 9-10 weeks in (I think). It still takes about 5-10 minutes to find it. I remember once with DS1 it took me 30 minutes, I was having a mini panic attack!!!!
I'm glad you got to hear the heartbeat and feel reassured.
I'm going for the second part of the NT scan tomorrow (the blood work). I'm a little anxious to get the results. Unfortunately, it'll be next week before I know. I have some great coupons for Sears and I'm tempted to buy some unisex stuff (onsies and sleepers). Haven't decided yet.

Angie - Wow, I understand you were stressed after trying to find it for 30 minutes! But was tgat very early? I expected to find mine pretty quickly since I am at 17weeks +. I think I started way too high up, I found it super low (and on the side) and if knowing where to start it would probably would have saved me about 5 minutes and some stress :-)
Keeping my fingers crossed for your blood works! If the NT-scan was good I think you can feel quite relaxed, as I've understood the scan gives the most important mark. GL!Gorgeous4

Not that early - probably in my 20s week wise. But his placenta was anterior.... Between him and my outter belly. So I think that made it harder.... And I rarely felt him move.
And I think the heartbeat is always lower than you think it is :P
Thanks.... Got my blood work done and will get the results next week.... I'm not too worried about it (I think).

Yeah, I am always shocked at how low the heartbeat is! It makes me feel like a fake with this bump of mine, lol. But I figure, even if the bump isn't all baby, the baby is below it pushing all my insides up into the bump!

Yay, belly! You look great
And I think the heartbeat is just easier to hear down lower or something. The heartbeat seems to echo...at least in my experience. And even when I get it....it's never for very long because (I think) the baby swims away (or does a somersault or something) and then the heartbeat can be heard somewhere else. Who knows what REALLY goes on in there, lol.
