December 2017 TTC & 2ww thread

Hello ladies,

I hope you don't mind me joining this month's tww. Actually I'm not ttc yet as hubby was not convinced of a third child yet and I hoped to persuade him by Feb next year. I am on a not so strict LE diet for some months now and had just started exercising two weeks ago. But hubby surprised me with wanting to bd without protection some days ago and I was feeling overwhelmed and ask him to pull out as I was not really ready but didn't want to say no either lol. So I guess there is not really a chance of getting pregnant but as a poas addict I know I'll start testing soon ;-) on the day we bd unprotected my ovulation test was positive, so why knows...

Mtolbert I forgot you had a m/c before the recent one You've been through so much! Will be praying my hardest that you get that perfect little sticky bean soon - like this month!!! And are you kidding me - they forgot to send the baby off for testing? That's terrible of them. Progesterone sounds like a great idea. They will at least run betas when you get a bfp, yea?

It's after 11 pm here - I have been a night owl my whole life, it's literally how I'm programmed haha! I go to sleep before 10 pm maybe about 5 times a year!!

Pbn you crack me up!! I just burst out laughing reading your post!! Honestly - I'm not convinced at all yet. This is just so weird - it really feels like the FRERs are playing tricks on me. And yea not being sure about the O date is making me crazy too - nothing about that makes sense. First +OPK on Monday, two huge follicles on u/s on Tuesday morning, EWCM Sunday-Wednesday, dry on Thursday, and temp rise on Friday. I mean are you kidding me?! But as atomic has told me a few times now, Clomid can do weird stuff I guess. I wont test again for another 8 hours at least so please don't wake up on my account! But lol about the peeing thing - I'm thankful I really didn't deal w/ that w/ my two boys... somehow neither of them ended up pushing on my bladder much!

Yeah it's been a long hard road and even DH said he doesn't think we can handle another loss. Yes, they "forgot"... I was so mad and upset but all I could do was cry. That being said, we are both feeling really optimistic. We conceived the most recent baby we lost on cycle 2 of femara, so im really hopeful this cycle 2 of femara will be our lucky one and we get a healthy sticky bean!!!! At my current dr they only want to do 1 round of bloodwork at 8 weeks which seems crazy to me because that doesn't show if the numbers are doubling, so I may have to get a little more insistent and less patient when I finally do get my BFP! After talking with Pbn, I've decided to do the SMEP this time. Though I long for a girl, I would be just as happy and in love with another baby boy!

I understand why you are so hesitant to believe this is your BFP as I am the same way. But I truly believe this is yours!!! Your lines look great and I don't have to squint or anything!! I showed my sister your tests as well and she thinks they look positive too! And she couldn't even see my previous BFP in person at first [emoji23] Are you going to go in for betas tomorrow??

Abc I second mtolbert (hi there [emoji6]! Great to see you here [emoji3]) and would get betas for peace of mind. This is only morning 2 of testing, hcg doubles every 48 hours. Tomorrows frer will be darker, like this mornings but even more noticable. And that's a great line on the wondfo! If you'd taken a photo at 5-10 minutes I bet we all would have seen something. They are easier to see dry is all when testing this early. Remember you are only JUST pregnant! My early tests took awhile for the line to show up. I learnt to walk away and come back at the 8 minute mark to avoid panicking. Within another day or so you will begin to se the line straight away but it will still take to darken.
