I havent had it confirmed by my dr yet I am booked in to see him on the 14th of march.. But I guess he would let me decide when i want my first scan?

dannikins -- Did you sway? I just saw on your sig "unexpected" and I have never read your attempt. I was just curious....what was your attempt? Was it different from your boys?

it was different to the boys, but it was a big accident too.....lol.
i had just spent 2 months researching, and gathering supplies, i had everything set , and was going to start my sway begining of october.
but after a few days of dizzy spells, fatigue, and super sense of smell, i took a test on september 26th, 12 dpo and got a shock BFP.

any sway factors are purely a fluke.

both me and DH had the flu.
BD was a one shot deal 5 days before O, after 7 days abstinence . (the boys were all frequent BD, closer to O or right through O)
missionary position with J&D.(position was a coincidence, and i always J&D)
i did take some cranberry tablets for a few days, but i had only just bought them, so i hadnt had them for long.
usually i have heaps of EWCM for about a week before O, but this time i only had it for a few days, and i had to search for it. not sure if that was from the cranberry tabs or from being sick.

Dannikins... I really hope my one time dtd is going to help me.. will see.. My d/h released alot and we dtd one his 3rd release in 24hrs AND i used rephresh 24 hrs before so if i have a boy he had to really fight! so he must want to be with us!! What we did this time is way different to when i concieved my ds

Suregena got AF after 56 days! Her next attempt will be in May.

ok so pretty much until your dating scan you go by lmp ? I remember with ds i had a scan and i said i was 9 weeks scan said i was 7 weeks but then i booked in for 12 week scan to the day ( going by my scan that said i was 7 weeks) and i ended up being 13 weeks and 4 days by the 12 week scan.. It was hard because i missed out on important tests or something that are done at 12 weeks??? So when would you suggest i should book my first scan for? how many weeks past LMP?

Pinkin, are you private or public? I had mine through the private system and first OB appt was 11 weeks (from LMP). They are mostly checking you have a bub in the right place with a heart beat at that stage from memory (it has been a while!). I did have one at 8 weeks with DS1 but that was because I had had some bleeding and they wanted to make sure it was not an ectopic. If they do one that early, it is usually an internal U/S (fun fun). At my 11 week appt they gave me the blood and U/S request forms for the 12 or 13 week nuchal fold tests.

I had an ultrasound done every time I saw my OB, but I know that the public system do not do them as frequently as that (in Perth anyway). If you are going private, then book your OB ASAP as they only take a certain number of women each month. I know plenty of great ones in Perth, but can't recommend any in Melbourne sorry. If you have any friends who work in the medical industry, they are the best to ask! I do know one nurse in Melborne who is pg with her 4th, so am happy to ask her if it helps.

Peony, I think that would be a good idea if i got my scan done at 11 weeks going by lmp. I just hope all is well in there!! I am not in Private Health but i know my dr would let me get a scan if i wanted i would just have to pay for it i guess. They dont bulk bill down here where I am.. At Least i dont think they do because i paid for 4 scans when i was preg with my ds..
As for the Ticker mine was doing the invalid file too it took a bit of mucking around to get it

Hi everyone, just after some advice. I think this lifestyle change is really starting to affect me; I've got this horrible head cold, blocked sinus and runny nose at the same time, swollen glands, headache, sweating and then freezing, etc. I feel like death. I'm sure it's the weightloss and lack of nutrients. Does anyone know if you can take cold/flu medication that won't sway blue?

Lala, you should take some paracetamol for your fever. And if your sinuses are painful you could always take some sudafed or similar. You won't be on anything for long. It is usually just a couple of days and then you'll feel much better. I always use Fess nasal spray (it is just salty water) to help with a stuffy nose as it contains no drugs and you can use it as often as you like. Otrivine nasal drops are also good. You poor thing.
My boys are both sick at the moment. Not fun. Hope you bounce back soon.
