I just had my 12 week scan yesterday. Of course the baby did not cooperate so I go back on Friday to try again. However, if baby doesn’t cooperate my doctor is going to have my blood drawn for the blood test that will tell everything, including sex! So I’m hopeful that baby decides to no cooperate so I’ll know for sure soon. That being said, my husband got very excited when they showed the potty shot because he didn’t not see what he saw for our son. He said he saw a w, not a little nub penis. I didn’t see a little penis either, but my view wasn’t as good as his. Of course they didn’t take a picture of that, but maybe on Friday!! Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and it’s super exciting as people are finding out what they are having!!

I have a blood clotting disorder and all of my babies except one have been late preemies (35 week range), one at just under 38 weeks. Then my fourth was a 30-weeker. I did the PIO injections with my fifth pregnancy even though I was having twins and there is no benefit whatsoever to using progesterone in a multiples pregnancy in terms of reducing preterm labor. I get bad local reactions to them and asked to switch to vaginal suppositories, but that only helps if you have issues with a short cervix causing preterm labor, which I do not. I’m doing the shots again this time since it’s a singleton pregnancy on the chance that it may get me an extra week or two out of the pregnancy.
