I have been having several crazy dreams too - almost every night. I've had a few really bad nightmares though - one where I actually was crying in my dream and woke up crying! I'm also having so many crazy gender dreams where we find out it's a girl and then I wake up all happy and realize it was just a dream lol! (We are team green)

The dream/nightmare I had last night is that I had a scan. After I had it I said can you double check its still a girl. So they looked at its head (?) and did 3d on its face. It was very clear the baby had Down syndrome. Then all of the sudden the baby was born (at 24weeks) and it was a boy. So I had a boy with downs in my dream. It felt so real. To the point at which in my dream I was just wanting to wake up but knew I couldn't as it was real life. Then I woke up and was really confused! It took a while for it to sink in it was just a dream (I hope!!). Got me feeling really nervous about the health and sex of my baby!
I don't even know after 3 or 4 scans how I can still be questioning if it really is a girl, but I can't help it!

Aw Tree that must have been really disturbing! I really believe that dreams are just your brain sorting out anxieties and junk from day to day life. Please do not for a second worry that your dream will come true. If you had a dream that Ewan McGreggor or your best friend's husband wanted to sleep with you would you stop watching TV and cut off ties with your friend?!!! Oooh now I am thinking about Ewan what a lovely start to the morning!

Boo on all the bad dreams! I can (happily) say I have had NONE. I haven't remembered a dream in months and months.
Hope everyone is well!
AFM - Had a rough day yesterday. GD just hit me all over again. Ugh. Had a nasty cry and rant to DH. Can't say I felt much better afterward. But woke up this morning feeling better. Not sure what was going on! Anyway, I guess it's a process to overcome GD...need to give myself some time. Today's a new day!

Tree, what Emily said is exactly how I think about dreams too, your brain processing thoughts, fears, and information you encountered during the day or week. I have had less dreams lately than in previous pregnancies but I've still had a few scary ones and a few that were good. A few nights before my 15 week scan I had a dream where I clearly saw a ultrasound potty shot of the baby and there was nothing between the legs. At the scan, that's exactly how it was, so you could be tempted to say I had a premonition... But I really just think that was my dream state letting my mind wander to my hopes, and it was a lucky coincidence they were actually what happened IRL.
Lol em, so true, I dream all kinds of random stuff that I can't possibly take seriously in real life, no matter how real it is, like once with ds1 I had a dream that I gave birth down our town's Main Street, in the park, at night, then all of a sudden my DH wanted me to go into every shop (which were open, even though they dont open at night) and show all the people we know our new baby... whilst I was still naked. LOL. I woke up really pissed off with him! Another time I dreamt I had 6 nipples and had to feed my baby like a cat. LOL. Or that I had baby and put him in my back pocket for safekeeping (he fit) and accidentally sat on him. LOL. Not only do my dreams seem to be my brain's way of sorting out hopes and fears, but it tends to randomly mesh in other things I've seen that day, like I went to the park, saw a cat, or put something in my back pocket!!!!DS1 2009, DS2 2011.
Due early Feb 2014, it's a GIRL!

Thanks girls... I have very strange dreams as standard and agree that it's my anxieties and worries coming out, of course I hope it's not true too! Last nights dream was sooo bizarre. I can't even make sense of the that one!
Myrainbowgirl I'm so sorry about the GD. It's hard and naturally will take time to adjust your mind from one way of thinking to another. It's also loss of a dream, a dream you've been focusing on for a long time and whilst you've been blessed with a different kind of dream it's still a huge adjustment to get your head round and let get of. One of the hardest things about all of this is that to a greater or lesser extent (we don't know how much swaying sways exactly) we can't totally control the outcome. You give it your best shot, then hope. Dreaming and fantasising about your DG then occupies your mind (if your like me, completely!) until you find out one way and other at which stage you can contribute your daydreaming or feel you just stop, considering this has been something you've been thinking about so intensely for a while its going to be hard to just stop. Time will make it better!
Lil they always go off the scan. I personally now keep the furthest date away in my mind so that the wait doesn't feel so long if you go overdue. Also the window of 5 weeks (37-42) to give birth is pretty big anyway.
