Well I had another ultrasound yesterday (as I had some bad abdominal pains over the weekend and thought I might miscarry but it all settled down now but wanted to check everything is okay) and tech confirmed baby is a girl! She pointed out labia and three white lines. I thought baby was a girl. I'm having real problems believing it even though I have seen the evidence. Will wait until after 20 week ultrasound to announce to family and friends though. Just in case. I mentioned this to tech and she said, baby wasn't changing into a boy. Lol. Just got to come up with a girl name now. It's harder then I thought.

Hey ladies! Back from my scan. One healthy baby inside! Baby was upside down so they sent me away to wiggle a bit and see if I could change its position. DH and I were dancing around in the hospital corridors looking like lunatics! So funny! Anyhoo, when we went back, baby was lying on its face(!) but the u/s tech could now get the proper measurements as at least it was horizontal. Absolutely no views of nub so we won't know gender until 25/3 at the next scan.

Congrats Violet, you knew it and you were right, wish i was so sure but will find out for definite next tuesday (have been told by a few doctors now not to rely too much on my cvs test as they can be wrong!) and i've been sure from the start this is a boy.

Thanks for all the well wishes ladies. My scan was about 1 hour or more. Basically the spot is there but my risk for DS is so low that it isn't even worth further testing. The spot called an EIF is a soft marker for DS and it increases ones overall risk, however my risk was already so low that the little increase didn't make a difference. It's a very complex situation but in the end Joelle's heart is perfect, she is perfect (as far as we can see) and I declined further testing. As I said before, she is perfect to me regardless. Oh and the tech and doctor confirmed she is definitely a she, lol. So now that that's over with...time to go shopping!!!!

I went for my 12 week US. Thinking we have a boy on our hands. Bugger it. Anyways, I've posted in the US forum for guesses. Already got one boy guess.... Kill me now...
