Thanks everyone! So I'm confused... this scan was done at 12 weeks, or 12w2d max. Is my LO an "early bloomer"? As many scans at that gestation don't show much.

I'm just not convinced what looks like the nub is actually the nub. I have read that when it's nice and bright white that it's actually can be part of a bone. Also the two dots look disconnected from each other and you can see shadowy items right behind the "nub" and I'm curious if maybe that instead is the nub which is long and heading straight which would indicate more a girlie. Although if that is the nub (in the forefront), it's a classic boy nub. I tend to nubsess a lot on IG website and it's just a little different looking then most boy nubs. So that's why it's just a slight lean from me. GL!!

wocket - thanks for your thoughts! Well the general consensus seems to be that it's a true boy nub, but I am going to cling to your every word with just a minute amount of girlie-hope, because I can! When I first posted my pic on a due date forum I didn't even think the pic had a nub - the "nub" everyone is referring to - I thought it was femur and leg bent at right angles. I have another pic taken at the same scan which shows the leg and not the bright white nub too. Oh well - we will find out in 5 months (trying to stay team green)! I will keep you posted!!
