This type of thing is usually done afterwards as a contingency once approval has been granted. They felt that with PGD pregnancy rates being as high as they are that the market did I not justify this expense (or they did not have the money on hand to do it). There were not safety concerns with the off spring in the final data. That being said, I cannot be sure that what is being done in Mexico and elsewhere is the same process, is safe or works as well. They have not presented any data as of today. I will be curious to see if they do. If it is working well they probably would present at least preliminary data as an abstract. So far nothing.
The FDA approval process was widely seen as the main reason Microsort was limiting usage to family balancing. Yet now that they have apparently given up on the FDA, Microsort's two Mexico facilities still impose this market-shrinking limitation. What's up with that? Is Microsort simply being run by the world's worst marketers, as well as being seriously undercapitalized? And if they can't properly manage the technology themselves (which I'm guessing many of the people who have been following the Microsort story in hopes of unrestricted use for the past 10+ years very firmly believe), are they at least looking for well-capitalized investors who could fire all the current managers and properly bring this technology to market?

Why can't Microsort be used without FDA approval just like Ericsson is? They don't have any kind of approval and they still sell spinning services. Why can't Microsort reopen under another name and offer services?
