I had terrible ms with dd1 and craved fruit and candy, a touch with dd2, I had none with dd3 but was always cold, utterly exhausted and constantly starving, I has minor ms with DS but major food aversions. 4 babies, 4 very different pregnancies.

    Hi Brittany -

PLEASE believe me when I tell you, DON'T put any stock into your pg symptoms. Thousands of people have stressed over their pg symptoms and there is no pattern to them at all. I have one of my 4 boy pg where I had very little morning sickness and had horrible sickness with the other three. Now that I'm pg with a girl, I do think in retrospect that my sickness started sooner and went on later but it never was as bad as with my other three boys (nor as good as my 2nd boy who hardly made me sick at all.) There is no rhyme or reason to it. For every person who swears that they could tell on symptoms, I can list off 10 people who thought based on symptoms they were getting an opposite, only to end up with the same gender baby they had already.

The reason why doctors say "the placenta is everywhere" is because your uterus is very small at that state and the placenta takes up most of the available space. Ultrasound tech have to be specially trained to give you an accurate guess based on Ramzi method and unless they are, it's really not worth anything because they don't know what they're doing.

12 w 1 day is too late for Ramzi but you may be able to guess on a nub shot at that point and you can read more about that here: ULTRASOUND GENDER PREDICTION You can also post your early pics in that section and see what people think, but it won't be reliable since the tech wasn't trained in Ramzi method and we can't know if the pic is accurate or reversed.

I had nausea and loss of appetite with all my pregnancies but with my last one (dd) i would actually vomit and dry heave ALL the time (never with the boys)....any smell or even unsightly things such as dh opening the fridge and me getting a glimpse of food in there I would run to the bathroom and just lose it. So definitely much more sick with DD.

I had always heard the myth that if you didn't get any morning sickness its a boy and that a lot of sickness its a girl! With my ds I had not pregnancy symptoms at all! I felt great the whole first trimester. However its totally a myth because I have known tons of people who felt sick with boys or who had no symptoms with girls. Best wishes and hope you get your girl! Did you do any gender swaying for this baby?

I was sicker with DS2 than DS1 and that myth about being sicker with a girls created a lot of GD with him because I kept convincing myself that he had to be a girl because I was sicker, though in my heart I already had a feeling he was a boy.

This time I had mild morning sickness, mostly just a seasickness / weird taste in the mouth feeling, and did not look into symtoms that much, partly because I didn't think I'd get "lucky" enough to get a DD, and because it drove me crazy anyalzing every twinge with DS2.

I had morning sickness for 5 months with DD1, I was on diclectin (not sure for about the spelling), dizzy spells with DS nothing major and mild nausea with DD2. None of my pregnancies where similar not even the girl ones. My cousin had severe nausea/ms with her DS1 she lost 25 lbs... she was vomiting until the day she gave birth and absolutely nothing with DS2 so I wouldn't look too much into symptoms.

I craved different things with my first baby (wanted lots of sweets), and with the others I've wanted things more like sandwiches (though I did crave a lot of ice cream with #5, so wanted sweets with two girls).

I have carried the same every single time.

My morning sickness got progressively worse with each pregnancy I was on, but seems to have let up early on me with baby #6 (FX!!!!!)

My conclusion is that symptoms have no gender correlation. I'm not helpful, I know!

I have one girl and three boys and they were all different. I am pregnant with my fifth child and this one is extremely different, probably because I haven't been pregnant in almost 6 years! This time I have nausea, fatigue, acne, and lots of mood swings (Poor kids and hubby!) I keep hoping it is a girl, but all of this information varies so much from person to person. I guess I have to wait until my ultrasound in two weeks! Fingers crossed
