Ovulation doesn't begin or end, it's an event that occurs. O+12 is meant to be 12 hours after ovulation has occured.
Ovulation = egg is released
Egg may live for a few hours after it is released. The "24 hours" number that is claimed on Ingender is wrong and was meant for people trying to be absolutely safe for preventing pregnancy, not for people who are trying to achieve it. most eggs will be dead and gone long before that.
O+12 means that you have sex 12 hours after egg is released and you hope and pray that your egg lives that long, plus an additional 4 hours for the sperm to capacitate and make it to the egg.!!! Questions??
