With regarding timing? Does that have an impact? I have read a lot about Shettles & that says to BD a few days before OV?

Timing doesn't sway. It doesn't work and most of us on here, myself included, have 2-3-4 or more timing opposites. I have 4! Full case against timing is here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...le-timing.html

That having been said if you want to do it, you can aim for a 2 or 3 day cutoff if your cycle is regular. Just BD one time 2 or 3 days before you have sex. But that having been said, even BD at positive OPK really is a bit of a cutoff, since you get your OPK about 36 hours on average before you ovulate.

Here's a monster of a thread that has some useful info in it about how many attempts to have and when to have them, plus adding things like frequency patterns to that.

Hello, I have now 4 days positive opks. The line is as dark as the controlline. Is this ok? Temperature went up... Now cd 18, first positive at CD 15. Temperature higher than before since cd 16.

Yes, this happens fairly regularly. I can't tell you when you have or will ovulate in correlation to the OPK; most will ovulate an average of 36 hours after first positive but it does not always work out that way! I would probalby have you start up with e4d after this point to be sure you're in with regular attempts.
