Need Clear Answer's to my questions Please!!!!

I'm not familiar with SP or Sudafed so I won't comment on it, you've gotten great answers from the ladies above already.

Vitex *can* take up to 3 months to show results. However it can also take effect immediately. I saw results this current month after only taking Vitex starting this cycle for AF-O, so for me I saw results in 14 days. However everyone is different and it may take a few cycles to have results for someone else.

Seasons and swaying is bunk, at least in my experience. I conceived two of my boys in perfect 'girl' months, one of them in April! And, two out of my three boys were also the 'wrong' gender according to the Chinese calendar. So don't put any stock in April being an especially great girl month, I truly believe it makes no difference at all.

The reason why you are finding differing opinions is because herbs/supps affect us all differently and everyone's hormone balances and cycles are different. It takes different amount of time and amounts of supps to have effect for different people, and what works great for one lady can have the total opposite for another. You just never know till you try. The reason Atomic suggests 6 weeks is because that's a good rule-of-thumb starting place so you are on the diet/supps long enough to see results. For some people they'll see results faster and for others longer, there's no one right answer. You just have to guess-and-test like the rest of us.

Thanks it's just hard to get a plan down when you get different advise from everyone and it doesn't help me out so thats why I wanted to know what is the best way to take V. Like I said before I'm not too big on girl boy months my husband and I just decided April this last summer and thats our plan and Atomic said it's a great month, it's not like I had a different month to try and conceive and then changed it we had April planned out already. And what results am I looking for when I start Vitex to know it's working?

Well it depends, why are you taking vitex in the first place? If you don't have cycle issues (irregular ov, anov cycles, short LP, repeatedly delayed o) then don't take it. Vitex tends to mess up cycles that are already normal.

It sounds like you're looking for clearcut black/white answers and unfortunately when it comes to TTC there often aren't any. Most of the time the answer is 'it depends' and 'results can vary'.

For me I started Vitex because my cycles were very irregular after DS3 was born, and often anovulatory. My last cycle was 41 days long with ov on CD36. I started vitex this cycle from days 1-14 and my ov happened on CD15. So it was a huge change. However for someone who isn't experiencing real problems with their cycle I wouldn't recommend vitex at all as it's very potent, and if you're already normal you risk messing things up in a bad way.

Again though, and I know you're sick of hearing this, is that what you experience may be very different. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions to TTC issues.

You might see your ovulation day change - it might be sooner or it may delay ovulation (more the reason I personally would take it early) and then again, maybe it won't do much at all. You'll have to play it by ear and take records so that you know (if) what it's doing.

For me the first month i took vitex it moved my o day from cd15 to cd12, the months i took vitex and sp i also had spotting a good few days before my af started, one month it was 8 days first. I got my bfp the first month of vitex on clomid. As the other girls have said, it affects everyone differently i have also heard it acting as birth control for people who take it for to long of period.

This is if it's taken all through your cycle. It can delay ovulation if you don't stop it once you are expecting to O.

We'll my cycles are normal and so are alot of women's cycles taking Vitex I'm taking it to sway just like some other ladies other wise I think Atomic would say don't take it at all if you have normal cycles. And I am aware that it can make my cycle different, all I wanted to know was when and how to take vitex and some of the ladies have cleared that up for me. Thx...
