I'm not quite sure on what you are asking. Those are tricky nubs in the pics you have posted--with some of them we aren't seeing the whole nub as baby is just a bit off center from capturing it completely. In others the back is a bit curved. I will admit that a couple I would have guessed girl for sure on but I don't know the gestation of all of them either and I don't knowingly guess before 12 weeks. Nubs start out flat for the most part and gradually angle up over the course of the 11th week and sometimes early into the 12 week so that could be the case in some images as well.
Really, the best way to learn is to keep guessing and asking questions![]()

They were all between a little over 12 weeks and a little over 13 weeks.
I was asking if these were definitely the nubs or if it was at all possible that it was part of the hip bone (as some techs have stated). NBP helped me to understand better about the curled spine and how those aren't as accurate.

I dont think these pics are showing the hip bones, because they are really good profile shots, i think hip bones will look like nubs if the baby is rolling over kind of iykwim. Nub guessing is not 100% obviously it takes a very good shot of the nub at the right time to get a good view and then a good guess, some ladies are really lucky with the shots they get (usually when the tech is willing to get it) others are not the best and can go either way.

Thanks! All of this can get confusing. On another site, I've read that these white lines aren't the nub because they can be seen on either gender. So since these are boys- I just wanted to make sure that the white lines are the nubs and not a bone like others have suggested

Ahh okay
Yes, these are nubs for sure--possibly not the entire nub on some of them, but definitely nubs and not hip bones.

Nub guessing is just not 100% , I think even with clear nubs and experience , my dr said its about 80%. And if you think about it 20% is still a lot of people whose nubs might not give them accurate guess.
