If DH releases tonight at midnight and then we BD at the next possible time - which would likely be 1pm on Thursday during naptime is that not compressed enough considering he didn't release at all since Monday night at 11pm?

(ATomic is going to kill me for this advice)...but its so hard to know what is going on here with your ovulation
Can you go see if your cervix is high up there (compared to the other day)
Are yo thinking you still haven't ovulated? I don't know what those temps mean either.

I checked earlier today and it felt high, softish and I think open (haven't noticed the openess before... but I just checked again a few mins ago and it feels lower.. I just remember not having to go as high because before it was really hard to reach. (that sounds so gross)
I have NO clue what to think! Gah
I can't believe I'd ovulate this late with a 28 day cycle! Thats what totally through me for a loop

Did you do an opk today?? I"m so sorry but I am confused as you.
There is 2 scenarios...you already O'd or have yet to O. (that was brilliant of me, I know) SO you have to figure out if monday is too long of a cut off to get pg from. It does seem odd for a person with regular cycles to wait so long to O but it does happen.

I did two today. One at 9:30 and it was negative (the bottom of the line was relatively dark in comparison to the control line but the rest of the line was very faded) and again at 4:00 (didn't go to the bathroom in between those two) and it was negative - faint line. My darkest was Monday morning at 10:30 so far.
I think when DH gets home late tonight he'll release just so that we have the option of attempting around 9am tomorrow if we feel like we want to after seeing my temp. Still concerned though how it's basically been 48 hrs since his last release...

If this was ME...I would feel like I didn't have my bases covered and would be taking whatever DH could throw my way until I was sure ovulation was over. But take that with a grain of salt because I have conceived 5 boys under every sequence of timing and frequency.
If it was ME, I would be suspecting I was in O+12 category (based on the opk and cervix) and would be BDing tonight. But....I have 4 boys in the next room
Oh I am no help at all but maybe it helps just to talk it through to formulate the best plan. DO what your gut is telling you. You know your body the best.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond! It definitely is nice to vent out these frustrations for sure. Both my boys were conceived with multiple BD in the fertile window so I'm so hesitant on multiple attempts! But at this point I'm going to roll with the punches. I'll see what happens tonight with DH when I see him and I'll just go with the flow!

Well your situation is definitely difficult with those opks but I think yoiu said before your BMI is really low so it would be hard to guage what is best...DTD with a 48 hour break, or...doing diet for another month or longer with possibly gaining weight and improving your condition. Totally a judgment call.
The best case scenario, is you already o'd recently and any dtd you do from here on out is just recreation.

My parting shot would be to insert a bit of Rephresh now (and not alot at all), if you decide to BD tonight just to balance things out a bit of the 48 hours without release. *risky* but so is everything we do in this swaying stuff
