I really thnk you don't need to worry too much we have the strongest and strictest of sways that don't always work and then the weakest of sways that do work, so what's there to say that yours wouldn't?

I agree with ELP I live off Larabars too the fruit nut roll one I keep them in my bag or car they are so convinient.. Sometimes I'm the same where I'm constantly rushing and always try to munch before I get hungry or atleast 2hours sometimes less..

But yes do take the pregnancy test if your really not unsure and all shall be revealed!! Lol let us know xx

Guess what? I have more questions...
So the egg can live up to 24hrs after you ovulated which means you still can get pregnant even after ovulation took place. Right?
I know many of you don't rely on SHuttles method anymore but I keep reading that if you're ttc a girl to bd after the ovulation. What is the theory behind this? Isn't this completely oppsite from shuttles method? And what is O+12 I keep seeing when ttc a girl? so I don't accidently do this...
I am now thinking maybe the best time to ttc a boy is when ur body is producing ewcm...so for next time, unlike last bd, think i'm gonna try bd when I get +opk with ewcm. What do you all think? Thanks in advance for your input.

Its more like 12 hours after O that the egg will die. O+12 is crazy and hard to time exactly so leads to lots of BFNs. The best timing method for boys is DTD every 2 - 3 days until you get the +opk, then DTD 3 times in 24hours, great if you have ewcm! More sperm = more boys

Hi and welcome! I'm glad you found us!!

There are some things I would change about your sway (just keeping it real) BUT as a general rule, I don't think there's any point to it if you may already be pregnant. It's not going to change anything and it will only make you secondguess yourself.

I do want you to know that EVERYONE has a chance at a baby boy or girl no matter what. Even the most perfect sways produce opposites, and you can do everything "wrong" for getting a boy and still get one! You have a good chance at your little man.

Since you may very well be pg right now with a baby boy, I strongly urge you to be taking prenatal vitamins, extra folic acid (up to 2000 mcg total including the amount in the prentatal), DHA supp like Enfamil Expecta, and be trying to eat a lot better, regular meals with protein and carbs at every meal and a good level of healthy fats.

You can absolutely get pg after ovulation has occured.

I think that having 3-5 attempts in your fertile window is great. A little before OPK, a little after, it's all good. The odds of getting pg from O+12 attempt is very difficult anyway, so please don't worry that you might hit O+12 - you will not get pg from O+12 if you've had any earlier attempts because there will be already capacitated sperm waiting for the egg, and the O+12 sperm do not even have a chance.

Why do I hear so much about timing around the Internet?! I'm trying to deprogram myself from believing it but it still stresses me out. Why do so many people still do it? I'm in a group on babycenter and 3 girls are having boys and did timing amongst other factors I'm just so confused and I think it's be because timing was the first sway factor I learned about. Plus I'm like everyone else and want to do everything perfect!

Both my boys were products of multiple BDs, starting several days before O and going through O (with DS1 we BD every day, with DS2 we BD every other day). With DS2 I am not even sure we BD on O day, because my temps were screwy!

That does make me feel better, thanks! I have heard a lot on the internet disputing it but I have also heard many success stories. I think it's more important for me to get pregnant anyway to risk timing.

My period started today!! I was so happy I almost screamed. lol
So I am fully charged to try swaying again for the next 2wks or so!
This time around I am not going to concentrate on timing but concentrate more on eating healthy and exercise. I am also going to try preseed and bsf.
I realized I bd'ed exactly 14days from today and did not get pregnant....hmmm
Glad I have a plenty of opk's to use for next time!
Will keep you guys updated on what I do and hopefully I can send lots of blue dusts to others who need it in the future! LOL
