Being obese is not healthy so makes sense your obese friends would have girls. Your skinny friend is probably much healthier and therefore more likely to have a boy. Lets not forget many women get a mix of girls and boys without knowingly doing anything to their diet. Swaying is just that, swaying. You can do everything by the book and still not get what you tried for. If you look at the results on here the diet seems to do the trick for most(not all). There are no certainties but if you desire a particular gender and are wanting another child (irrespective of its sex) there is no harm in trying!
I would LOVE to have a daughter and will give it a good good. The research makes sense and I'm very happy to loose the extra pounds (baby weight) along the way.
Ultimately you need to want another child and then read the available research/review results so you can make the choice with as much knowledge as you require to do so.
