I have an aunt Margaret AND an aunt Margot! And I have heard both of them called Maggie (also Mags, Mag and Meg). Although both of them are wonderful, I absolutely ADORE my aunt Margot

Thanks! I won't lie-I really don't care for 'Marg' or 'Marge', but Maggie is just so sweet. We love it! I think I'm starting to win my DH over on Margot.

Huh-I never thought of 'magnolia', thats really pretty but I doubt my other half would go for it.

I think flower names are sweet for little girls and I like that Magnolia is different than the usual Lily, Daisy, Violet, etc. yet it isn't so "out there" as to be strange.

I like Maggie, such a cute name. I think it is a great nickname for Margaret, Margot, Magdaline, Magnolia, etc.
