Ya insurance doesn't cover a pump here at all I don't think but maybe I should check that... Never heard of that... It will cost me 70 dollars a month to rent the hospital grade one but they are over a thousand dollars to buy :s

I wonder why they limit the choices to those two? Anyway, I have always used the medela which has done the trick for me.

They offer the medela pump in style and ameda purely yours as options too but they won't be in stock by the time I need it. I had good luck with a medela with my first son, but the medela model ( no idea which) I currently really hurts to use.

Ours hasn't in the past but there was some law passed this past year where breast pumps are now fully covered under insurance as well contraception. Figured I should take advantage since I'm unhappy with my current pump and I was not able to get my first 2 boys to latch on since they were 4-5 weeks early.
