In the US there are some nice soy-free veggie burgers as well, I have found them at Safeway.

Sorry thought I responded to this before... I stopped eating soy/nuts/dried fruits in October 2012 and resumed regular eating in March 2013 after my BPF.

Atomic is right that you *can* eat any of those foods mentioned as long as you stay in the guidelines of LE. Some days something like nuts or a veggie burger may be a lifesaver for you if you need some extra protein/calories in your diet. I just personally didn't want eat them while swaying because I didn't want them in the house because of the risk of temptation and eating a whole canister of cashew nuts in one sitting (which sounds wonderful right about now.) Out of sight, out of mind as they say.

Those non-soy veggie burgers sound yummy! Wish I would have saw those at the grocery store when doing LE.

Sorry ladies I forgot to answer this! Please don't get too excited, it's a processed cheese cauliflower & potato 'burger' coated in breadcrumbs from Asda. It was nice to eat when I eased up on the le diet a bit and does actually fit in with the limits anyway. I did used to make a cauliflower cheese with very little cheese, sweet pot, cauliflower, sweet chilli philli, potatoes & breadcrumbs though

That sounds pretty good actually Dreamofpink...and easy for LE. Wish I could have bought a few of those. Would have made for a great go-to meal idea too! Thanks!
