Thank you all for your help! I have come to realize I have some issues with food in general that need to be addressed and that's why this whole transition is hard for me. I am going to slowly start working myself into eating small snacks between meals. And not focus on calories or how much I'm eating. Just that I'm keeping myself from feeling hungry. I think if I even eat as little as 1,500 a day I should be ok as long as what I am eating is good wholesome food. After the way I've been eating for 23 years I'm sure my body will notice the difference. My question now is if I'm going to be focusing on a 1,500 cal diet does that mean I need to make up for what I burn in workouts so I have a full 1,500 instead of eating 1,500 and them burning 250 so I only really have 1,250?

It is different for everyone.
You need to eat as much as you possibly can (within reason) and not worry about taking into account how much you burned off in exercise. 2000 is better than 1800.
You are still thinking of this all wrong - it's NOT "If I eat the perfect amount of calories this is going to get me a son". It's "I need to get more nutrients into my diet and build some muscle mass and even a bit of fat stores, how best can I do that??" So it really doesn't even MATTER if you eat 1800 and burn off 275 or eat 2000 and burn off 150, that is kind of irrelevant. My concern is that if you're doing just the barest minimum and looking at your food intake as "the enemy", I just don't think you're going to be building up much muscle mass that way. I know it's really tough to revise your thinking on this.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Why on earth is this so hard for me? I think the only way I am going to make it work is if I don't count calories. But then I will be concerned that I am not eating enough. I am just going to eat through out the day and make sure I don't feel hungry .. keep working out (snacking in between workouts) take my supps and hope for the best! Either way I will be eating "more" than I do now or ever have ..
