Thank you all for your help! I have come to realize I have some issues with food in general that need to be addressed and that's why this whole transition is hard for me. I am going to slowly start working myself into eating small snacks between meals. And not focus on calories or how much I'm eating. Just that I'm keeping myself from feeling hungry. I think if I even eat as little as 1,500 a day I should be ok as long as what I am eating is good wholesome food. After the way I've been eating for 23 years I'm sure my body will notice the difference. My question now is if I'm going to be focusing on a 1,500 cal diet does that mean I need to make up for what I burn in workouts so I have a full 1,500 instead of eating 1,500 and them burning 250 so I only really have 1,250?

I guess we are in the same boat. Just got af today..so not happy. So on to 5th month on HE and 7th month ttc. On a brighter note, after starting B-complex my luteal phase increased by 1 day and I have been able to decrease my coffee intake to 3 cups from 6 cups/day.

Small steps in the right direction! I have started taking a B vitamin too. I think I really did have the sperm and egg unite 2 cycles ago but my LP isn't what it needs to be.
    Good luck missmegrn!!

I would absolutely NOT rely on that as a blue sway tactic. Minimum for blue sway is 2000 cals. Can you get a boy eating that few cals, why of course, pink swayers get opposites eating that little. But I do not recommend it.

    Can you do 1800?

Yes I can do 1800. Do you know if with 1800 people are more likely to gain or maintain? Also this area is confusing for me. Since every time I work out I seem to burn around 275ish do I eat 1800 and then burn 275 or do I need to make up for the 275 I burn?

    It is different for everyone.

You need to eat as much as you possibly can (within reason) and not worry about taking into account how much you burned off in exercise. 2000 is better than 1800.

You are still thinking of this all wrong - it's NOT "If I eat the perfect amount of calories this is going to get me a son". It's "I need to get more nutrients into my diet and build some muscle mass and even a bit of fat stores, how best can I do that??" So it really doesn't even MATTER if you eat 1800 and burn off 275 or eat 2000 and burn off 150, that is kind of irrelevant. My concern is that if you're doing just the barest minimum and looking at your food intake as "the enemy", I just don't think you're going to be building up much muscle mass that way. I know it's really tough to revise your thinking on this.

Why on earth is this so hard for me? I think the only way I am going to make it work is if I don't count calories. But then I will be concerned that I am not eating enough. I am just going to eat through out the day and make sure I don't feel hungry .. keep working out (snacking in between workouts) take my supps and hope for the best! Either way I will be eating "more" than I do now or ever have ..

I never counted calories, don't even worry about that. As long as you are eating ever 2 hours and you eat until you are full you know your body is getting plenty
