If you're a total workout junkie like me, do you plan on cutting out your workouts while swaying? Plan on reducing muscle so testosterone is reduced?
I can't decide if I'm going to or not. Ireally dont feel high testosterone matters personally, I'm definately just slightly toned even though I work out a lot, I don't think I have much testosterone... but I did workout A LOT while concieving both my boys. I don't think I could really keep up with my workouts while eating the girl diet where you can't really eat anything lol, but then again I need my workouts to stay sane!
What do you plan on doing??
If I was going to sway pink again I would exercise like a maniac while eating a low protein diet and losing weight. And I would also try to get pg very quickly so I didnt' have to do it for very long!!

You can have higher levels of testosterone and be very very feminine and not burly at all.

I don't think that I have great muscle mass, never really have, and I don't think that I have huge testosterone levels either, I am scared to do the wrong sway though so I am going to try to stick now to cardio, as much running as I can do.
Please read this essay I wrote about how higher levels of testosterone can manifest themselves - it's not about being big and burly for most people. Also, some researchers believe that it's the change in testosterone that matters rather than your T levels in comparison to any other person, so a woman might have ultra-high testosterone and have to even take medication to lower it enough to get pg, and then have a girl even though her T level is still higher than yours or mine.

I'm either going to do that or do nothing since that's the opposite of what I did with my boys. I just worry about getting to out of shape, I can't stand feeling "jiggly". I know you're not supposed to start new workouts once you get pg, and after almost 2 mo no workouts I dont 'know if that'd be considered starting a new workout... i ran up til 3 days before I had my 2nd son. ugh!
good luck to you!! hope we both get our girls =)
Now that I read this I almost wonder if you should STOP altogether to avoid your old pattern that (ya know, the whole obsessive boy-mom idea). Running up until 3 days before you have a baby SCREAMS boy-mom to me - and I mean that in the best of all possible ways, my hat is off to you, girl, that is awesome. My good friend BabiesRBlessings who some of you may know from another site, did bike races throughout her pregnancies (3B, 1G).

A really great pg workout that is not too intense is Walk Away the Pounds - it's not the intensity that you are used to for sure but it is safe during pg and at least it's something you can start up once you get a BFP.

It helps increase progesterone (decrease estrogen and probably testosterone), C. It probably reduces stress (stress can increase testosterone), and D. it helps keep your blood sugar low and regulate it. I also just saw an article on the post I asked about sodium output and does doing cardio for 60-70 minutes make you sweat out the sodium (with the idea you could maybe have a little more sodium in the diet). The article stated that if you sweat you sweat mostly sodium, and some potassium, calcium, and magnesium. You want to be sure to be taking your calcium and the magnesium. It just seems to me that a lot of women who run a lot have girls.
Yes I agree with everything you say! I always forget to mention the blood sugar aspect but exercise does totally lower your blood sugar response so you don't crash and burn as much on the girl diet.

Also exercise does acidify the body as well, another benefit.

    Thumbs up, that is PERFECT.

What I have noticed is thinner woman at my son's school and my friends have pretty much all girls...lol I would say most of them workout out a lot too, but don't have a lot of muscle.

Then on the other side I see in-town and even friends on facebook, women that are really overweight have girls too. I know this also has something to do with hormones too.

I know this is not the case for everyone of course, but I it seems more the case than not.

So, I think if you are just a little overweight it will sway boy. I think the biggest thing the cardio can do to help you is regulate your sugar, if you are a little overweight. This will help you with your diet and not have the highs and lows that being overweight can cause with your sugar, which many times leads to binge eating or over eating. It has really worked for me.
Another great post and I totally agree. I also see the two groups of women, very thin and very heavy, that tend to have girls, and everyone in between has the boys. Like I said above, it's the fertility that counts, not the weight itself, and both thin women and heavy women have reduced fertility. Since a thin person obviously shouldn't try and gain 100 pounds, it's best for anyone at a healthy weight to try and lose weight.

Thanks for answering atomic, i'm going to read that essay! I am totally obsessive LOL not offended at all! Maybe I read it wrong you were referring to something else but in the first posts you seem like you'd think it'd be best for me personally to go cardio crazy, no weights of course at all, but in the last post about me running you said you think it may be best to just not workout at all. I know I could do 1 hr cardio at least 6 days a week, but I kind of feel like I should do the complete opposite of what I did with my boys and not work out at all, go to the nail salon a lot (i never do that) but then again I don't want to get out shape after getting pg. I did cardio at least 5 days a week when we got pg with DS2, I was doing P90X and yoga in addition but I feel like that much cardio should have swayed pink anyway, I was eating more calcium than normal and taking 10,000 mg cranberry daily. I mean I wasn't swaying at all just coincidence but that's why I'm confused with the working out/cardio thing.
do you not think timing really matters that much? 1DS we were DTD every day as we hadn't seen in each other months, 2DS DTD 3 times that whole mo, 2 times in the same week we weren't trying. I was thinking of abstaining for at least 10 days then a 3 day cutoff. I don't know, I'm just wanting to do everything opposite that's kind of my mindset. I'm pretty much my MIL made over as far as our diets, workout patterns and all and she has all boys herself.
