so which is it? day of temp rise or day after? FF says that O day is the day BEFORE temp rise right?
bottom line, no one knows exactly what time you O, or temp rises, so its accuracy can only be within 12-24hrs. but IS the egg dead when progesterone is pumping?

I don't believe it could POSSIBLY be the day after the temp rise. No way, no how - but I am not a doctor and just going off of what I read in TCYOF and what I learned from IG - I know Tamara always told people that once your temp rose it was too late for O+12 because the egg was dead then.

What I have read has all said the same thing, it's the day of the temp DIP that is ovulation and the day of the temp rise it's usually too late, the egg is dead. So if that is at all true (and I have no reason to doubt that after looking at a lot of people's charts) then there is just no way that it can be the day after the temp rise.

The corpus luteum only begins to form AFTER the egg is released and the egg only lives, at maximum 24 hours (and usually less) so it stands to reason that by the time the CL has started producing enough prog to affect your temps, the egg is prob. dead by then.
