up to 2000 and if weight is still coming off, you may need to even go beyond that. at some point metabolism will drop and the weight will stop coming off tho

Thanks Atmoic one more question...what's the max on protein and fat intake while doing 1800-2000 calories? Right now I do anywhere between 40-50g of protein and 30-40g fat.

It's the same. So the trick is that you are still keeping protein and fat low, but you are getting more cals from carbohydrates. Some people do want to up fat proportionally (we aim for keeping 20-30% of our day's cals from fat) so between 40 60 g fat. But you don't necessarily have to do this. If you're happy with lower fat than that and you're ovulating normally, it's fine to have a bit less than the 20-30% range. If you do want to up fat, the Omega 6's are better for your sway (margarine, shortening, corn oil)
Note - For anyone with PCOS this advice does not apply to you, you should not be eating as many carbs as those without PCOS do.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
