Hi ladybug! Looks like we are O buddies next month, lol. What is your plan on timing? Because the diet has been such a challenge, I'm thinking about BD every other day up until the day before O...I wonder if that's too risky??? Are you doing the diet as well?
    Expecting #1 in April 2012! It's a !

Hi ladies - count me in! I have three boys - 5 year old twins and a 22 month old. I swayed very very gently for my youngest, but obviously it didn't work. I'll be ovulating sometime near the end of June, but I still BF my 22 month old once a day, so my cycle isn't completely regular yet. As a result of that and the fact that I completely messed up my timing last time for O+12, I'm probably going to ignore timing (except maybe avoid BD on O-day since that's when all of my boys were conceived) and just focus on diet.

I'm doing a mix of the low everything diet and the IG one - basically, I follow the low everything one all day, then about 2-3 times a week have a chicken recipe from the IG girl cookbook (I haven't been doing so well with the vegetarian thing every day). On those days my protein is a little higher than the 40 g max (more like 60 g once I include milk and yogurt), but the other days I keep well below it.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you. I'm still quite close with a lot of the IG ladies I swayed with last time around - there's nothing that will create a tight bond quite like suffering through a sway together!

Hi ladies - I'm not officially swaying yet (DH wants no more kids!) but I've been following the diet and taking supplements anyway, as our previous 3 children (twin boys, nearly 5 and a baby boy 8 months) were all conceived when we weren't really trying. I've been tracking my cycles for the past few months and getting a bit better at recognizing the ovulation signs though feel more practice is needed...
As for the diet, since I'm a "secret swayer", I try to be really good during the day - no breakfast, peppermint tea, no salt matzoh crackers with fat free cottage cheese or sugarless strawberry jam and yogurt as lunchtime meal and for suppers trying to avoid the big no-no's - tomatoes/red, red meat, salt..while keeping my protein portions on the smaller side.. so far husband hasn't noticed or at least hasn't commented. He thinks I gave up bacon, burgers, etc. because I'm trying to nudge off the last 5 pounds of the baby weight. good luck to everyone -

Hey Hollyberry...we are cycle buddies!!!! I plan to use abstinence until I get a positive on my OPK, looking at a 1 to 2 day cut off....I did freq bd with both boys so I will try that with my first attempt....I am doing the diet....Low everything that is...I am losing weight...thats what matters, i hope anyway....I have my plan in place and I will do what feels right..I am a lazy swayer...I kinda hope that approach will get me a girl cause I was so uptight the other 2 times i was ttc....Do you have a plan yet?

I was so good with the diet this week, and I was bad tonight. I was at a wedding shower for a friend at a restaurant, and I ended up getting pizza and chocolate gelato for dessert. At least I didn't order the huge gourmet burger and handcut fries I really, really wanted. The pizza was a bit salty because it had pesto sauce on it instead of tomato, but there was only bocconcini cheese on it, which has hardly any sodium. It wasn't the worst thing on the menu I could have ordered, but it also wasn't the best. I have no excuse for the chocolate gelato, but I've gotta say it was sooooo yummy after 2 weeks of no chocolate. I'm amazed my stomach could hold all that food after 2 weeks of eating hardly anything. I hope this doesn't blow my sway.

Don't worry about it mocha girl! Atomic said in another post, even when times are bad occasionally people had a good day and I think that's a good point. I'm not going to stop myself from going out for 6 or more weeks!!!! Don't feel guilty about the occasional bad day, x

Thanks, Swish. I'm not too concerned, except for the fact that I fear there will be more nights like this in the weeks to come. My mother is coming to visit this week and my in-laws are coming in a few weeks. I'm sure there will be more dinners out and it's also going to be hard to eat strictly on the diet at home when they're here since I don't want anyone to know about the swaying. My mother and I are very close, so I may tell her about my diet, but there's no way I can tell my in-laws. They are going to be staying with us for a whole week! I thought maybe I can eat my bland dinner while cooking everyone else's dinner, then just pick at whatever I've made for everyone at the actual meal. It's going to be tricky.
