I SO felt that way! After about month 7 on the LE diet, I was a wreck. I took a month off (not totally off, but allowed myself more cheat days and a little more fat) and felt a lot better. Maybe an extra cheat here and there might help? Oh, and adding alcohol nightly to my sway helped, too. It took the edge off me being a raving b-word... to a mild b-word at least.

Nice to hear I'm not the only crazy one!! Some days I'm okay and I think its getting easier but some days I turn big time if I don't get to eat by 12 I'm sure my work colleagues think I'm mad! Xxx

All my life i have been a real moody cow when I am hungry, my DH always used to know when I was hungry and hadnt eaten because of my mood! When I first started this diet and trying to hold off eating breakfast I was worried for the people around me lol. However you do get used to the hunger, and once you get past it, its not that bad. During the week I cannot skip it entirely as I am up at 515 but try my best not to have breakfast until 1030, but that is 5 hours later and i have exercised too. At the weekend I manage to skip breakfast now but then I would have woken up at 630/7 and first meal 12/1230 so similar timing. And DH hasnt suspected as he hasnt picked me up on moodiness!!

My typical day consists of Peppermint tea and then a coffee for breakfast, wrap with cream cheese and salad for lunch, mushroom risotto and low fat yogurt for dinner.
I top up the calories sometimes with a few sweets as a after dinner treat.

I know it is not my best diet and I do usually eat a lot healthier ....

I try to cut out meat but this week had some chicken and today a slice of roast pork as it was a family dinner and didn't want to arise questions from my family...now I feel guilty I may compromise my sway for this month....
But keeping the faith nevertheless ...
Are you fitting in the limits of the day with that?? Seems kinda low on fat and protein (depending on serving size) and you def. seem like you'd need more potassium than that.

If you are not sticking in the LE Diet limits, you are not doing LE Diet. Starvation diets of misery are not what LE Diet is about. It's low everything, not NO everything.

Remember, cheating is not only allowed but encouraged on LE Diet. A slice of roast pork will NOT compromise your sway this month.

Oh and just wanted to mention that women def. seem to be universally more prone to crankiness when they don't eat compared to men - it isn't just you guys! My sons can sometimes go all day without eating and I almost have to forcefeed them to be sure they eat 3 meals a day. Whereas my daughter, even at a very young age gets really upset if she is hungry and we often have to get her snacks to keep her happy. Never happened with the boys.

Yes you are right Atomic, I think I have been a bit too extreme with the diet and I am now allowing myself cheats and generally more food! I think I was just scared of eating the 'wrong' food ...

The major change for me is the 'skipping breakfast' as I always use to have a big breakfast with lots of butter and chocolate hazelnut spread on bread (so very high in fat), then a light lunch and a big 'meaty' dinner.
Cutting down meat esp.red meat is also a big diet change (particularly for a French person lol!)
I also used to drink lots of green tea.

Thank you, feeling a bit more relaxed now with it!

Only a few days before first attempt, feeling excited!!
