Dreamingofwin I have a similar problem. I'm 8 dpo and started excersise at 3 dpo. I actually might have already conserved this month but am hoping I don't only so I have more time on diet and so I have a little bit of excersise under my belt. Any way if I conceive next month, that only gives me like 3 weeks of excersise. I asked if this would be an issue. Atomic's response was this, the only harm would be a rise in testosterone. A testosterone rises when you begin working out then over time it drops. She also said that we are sure if testosterone sways. So I just made and executive decision and decided that based on the info, I wanted to give it a try. I'm also taking saw palmetto so maybe that will help a bit. But in my eyes I think excersise will help. And I wanna try everything. I think if I got an opposite while not excersising, I'd wonder if excersising would have done it. That being said it's really something that you have to gather all info you can and then make the desolation on your own because there's just not enough data to tell

Ah, you're right. It'll cost you $12 to look at that thread, LOL. It IS worth it, IMHO. Seriously though, suffice it to say that exercise has had a handful of opposites, but it has better stats than any other sway tactic.

My failed sway I did couch potato route so I'm all for exercise this next time. Thing is, with 2 kiddos and stairs in my house and playing with them outside, I'm hardly a couch potato, KWIM? If you've got a desk job you work for 60 hours a week you're much more a couch potato than the average mom with kids.

Sorry to jump in, but how long do you have to exercise this way to be effective? I have a gym membership (taking a week break bc I had non-invasive surgery last week), but my attempt is going to be mid April. I can't get to the gym 6 days a week for 6 weeks.

I think 6-8 weeks minimum is getting the best results

I know a lot of ladies are doing Walk Away The Pounds at home, so maybe you could fill in the days you can't make it to the gym with that YouTube video at home?

We honestly do not know and can't totally say which is the "better option" across the boards (and it's probably different for everyone anyway).
Exercise does not exist in a vacuum, it works in concert with diet and if you're losing weight on a lower protein diet, it can sway pink even at a moderate level, and if you are eating a ton you can end up swaying blue even with more intense exercise. And anyone who has trouble regulating blood sugar such as PCOS/IR should do exercise even if it's moderate, because the benefits for lowering blood sugar outweigh any risks of the mod. exercise. But overall there is the trend that mod. exercise + blue friendly diet sways pretty strongly blue.
So, that leaves us with issues of practicality. Both ways can work if you follow a lower protein, lower cal diet and lose some weight. If you have no weight to spare, don't do the intense exercise, you will stop ovulation. If you ahve a lot of weight to lose, try really really hard to get the exercise in there.!!! just to recap -
Exercise has gotten great results albeit with small sample size
6-8 weeks in advance is best because T levels may rise at first but then decline over time
60 min in one block is better than shorter time periods because your body runs out of carbs to burn and starts burning stores of fat/muscle at that point, and something about that process seems to sway pink.
"intense" only means intense for YOU and not for an Olympic athlete (and yes I would like to have never used that word intense LOL) So if you're breathing hard and your heart is beating faster, it doens't matter if it's just brisk walking if that is all you can do.!!!
