Please help me name my twins

I told my DH he can name all the babies that he has... good reminder of who is going through all the stress, pain, and scars!! I really think men have no idea how physically and mentally difficult it is to carry and have a baby!!

We also are guilty of not having names picked out until after birth. I will have a short list of boy and girl names. It's nice to look at the baby's face and then decide, if you're having trouble. Sorry I don't have any name suggestions for you. I'm sure you'll find something though. Good luck!

My husband is also very opinionated about names and does not like to discuss it in advance.

is there any nickname that he would like for Milan like Milo or something like that? My husband didn't love the name Susannah but he did like Suzy so that was our compromise (and now he likes Susannah as well)

She did not have a name till noon the day after she was born and we hadn't even started talking about it till my water broke!

You can try nymbler. You enter the names you like and then it gives you suggestions based on those. I put in a couple names you mentioned to try it out and one of the names it came out with was Nila which I think is beautiful. Not certain if it or others will work for you (or dh). Personally I have named all my kids after seeing them (although we had lists of possibles). Good luck!

My dh has always been really difficult with names. He likes popular, classic, no-fail names and I like uncommon bug not weird names. He doesn't offer suggestions, just says 'yes' or ''no'. I found if I could figure out the style he liked, or the sound, or whatever he was more apt to agree. But he does let me have a tiny bit more say since I carry the baby and all

My first DD was completely named by dh without asking me....DD2 was born a week before Christmas so I really wanted a festive name....named her Natalia....Italian....means birth of Christ....and Italians say bueno natali meaning merry Christmas.....poor DD3 I was literally not being discharged because I couldn't find her a name lol but eventually we agreed with Alexa. All 5 of our names are A or N so we wanted to keep it going.

For dealing with Dh-I DONT compromise.I look at it this way.his suggestions and input are important BUT I have to put up with all the pregnancy & delivery & post partum so I get final say in ANY baby naming!he doest argue with that & hes damn lucky he doesn't!lol
