That is not compressed FR.
Compressed FR is where your husband does reg. release until 2-3 days before your attempt, then has 2-3 releases for those 2-3 days and these can be separated by 6-12 hours. On the day of attempt, he can have one release in the morning and then have your attempt 12 hours later OR you can just do one attempt that day (and this is what I would recommend if you had had, say, 3 releases a day for 3 days)
I really do not recommend doing BOTH regular FR and then tacking a compressed FR at the end of that. It will lower odds of conception too much.
I also do not recommend tacking a hurry up FR at the end of EITHER regular FR or compressed FR. You need to have enough swimmers to make it to the egg.

And can I just say ladies, see how complicated all this is? How much attention to detail and thought and control-freakiness it requires??
When one attempt is getting such good results, I think we need to start thinking beyond the frequency idea here. Remember, I made frequency up a couple years ago, it's not one of the "10 swaying commandments" or anything. We were trying something and it's become apparent now that the one attempt is so much better that I just hatehatehate to see you gals indulging that inner "Martha" doing too much obsessing over frequency. I think it sways a little bit and if there were 100 gals doing nothing else to sway BUT frequency, they'd prob. get more girls than boys (slightly). But in the overall grand scheme of things, I think it just gets swallowed up in the overall sway and becomes largely irrelevant.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank u all the ladies and esp atomic for ur reply m. Does make me feel better :-)
Atomic, I appreciate all ur help and info but just to clarify i wasn't trying to control or obsess abt the situation, I had understood that dtd every 4 days or abstaining for 7-10 days yields best results, and since our current pattern is exactly what we used which gabe us our sweet DS (dtd every couple days or other day/ infrequently) I was a bit stressed lol

Oh no odd, I didn't think that you were, it was just as I was writing it all up that I thought how ridiculously complex it all is and felt like a reminder was in order.
DTD every 4 days, we do not yet know about the results that will get. Potentially it could sway blue for fully fertile people. The reason I recommend that for A FEW people is because it's easier and better odds of conception, and it will help people who aren't getting positive OPK. But I do not want most people to do that method (at least not till they've been swaying for several months).
The one attempt is what seems to be getting the good results, regardless of frequency, so I want you guys to stick with that.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I think he did FR once 3 days before twice the day before and then FR late at 7am and we did attempt about 730pm. Hopefully he didn't kill them all off. This is our 3rd cyckw. Abstained first month and FR we last month. I just want to get preg x

ok win, after reading a few of your posts in a row I think I have a handle on the situation a bit and my recommendation for YOU (no one else, just you win) would be to drop frequency all together and switch to the reg. relelase every 2-4 days but KEEP the one attempt. I know you have been worried that you aren't going to get pregnant on one attempt but you have to at least TRY a couple months without frequency but WITH one attempt before you start adding attempts.

Thanks Atomic. Im not planning on adding attempts yet don't worry. 1 attempt is right up there in my list of things to drop v v last. I was thinking if if trying every 4 days fr next cycle with one attempt. I expect my dye procedure for my tubes will come through then so we won't be able to ttc that cycle. I then expect it'll be closed from gyne if im still not preg . Comic a few months before id add attempts!! X
