False positive OPK results can this happen??

i have deceided to try a O+12 we have been releasing twice daily for two days and am thinking O will happen sometime late this evening so husband would of released 4 times before our attempt possibly 6 depending if i can judge the whole +12 hour thing well enough.... have i salvaged this sway any thoughts please ??

Thanks Atomic so have kept testing no more surges detected still have CM though and the last two days my temp remains down.... now I am doubting everything I can't possibly be pregnant with a low BBT right?? Maybe I never ovulated in the first place why do I have CM? Does this happen in anovulatory cycle with the temp going up only to go down again?

You can def. have CM after ovulation, this is because your body continues to produce it for a few days after O to help the fertilized egg make it to the uterus and some of it finds its way out of the cervix.

Temps are weird things, some days you're just warmer than others and so you must watch the overall pattern.

I'm sorry that I was away from home and missed this!!!

I think that would have been a great idea to salvage the sway. Even if you didn't do O+12 and just did the 4 releases and then DTD at O, it would still sway pink for you. What did you end up doing???

ok so I am now wondering if I can salvage this sway if I am to ovulate later again if I keep testing, as with temp down this can be the only thing happening! I am thinking the whole temp rise thing was beacuse I had a head cold earlier in the week.
we wanted to do frequent release with cut off and we did frequent BD from AF till day 10 and now nothing day 11 day 12 and day 13..... can i salavge this by having husband release twice a day until i possibly get another surge on OPK.... ?
Only other problem is I stopped cranberry supplements and aspartamane thinking I was in the 2 WW and cheating with diet ate cake and a few fries????
Is this at all salvageable???

Yes, it was totally salvageable even with the diet cheats and stopping supps.

hey no probs we released twice a day for two days then did a 0+12 attempt which I'm not sure I got timing right but gave it a go..... I had real strong pains on my left side and went on feel of cervix so think I was pretty close on timing we just did the one attempt so see what happens I used acijel day before attempt and douched 30mins before the attempt so will see at times I feel it may of worked but maybe wishful thinking will let you know it 2 weeks.....
