All the jellies are 50-50. Also Sylk as well. Same results both with and without them, net result no benefit.
I do not know why they are getting the results they are. My suspicion is that pH probably never actually did anything other than reducing sperm numbers, and since we're taking care of that in different ways, the jelly is bringing nothing to the table other than preventing pregnancy for all but the very most fertile people OR people who weren't doing many/any other sway tactics. It's entirely possibly these same people are more "set" for blue to begin with and thus are making the jellies look more neutral than they are...but I wouldn't bank on that!![]()

since I do not think I can go gung-ho with the diet (I will turn into a miserable grouch) and I really can't afford to lose more than another 4-5 pounds (without going 'underweight') can I bypass some of the diet and rely on a jelly to reduce the pH?
I will definitely cut out the meat and bananas, and restrict potatoes down to almost nothing, then focus on nutrient "poor" foods (which is counter-intuitive to me since I'm a nutrition junky) and try to skip breakfast as often as possible.
It took me months to kick fake sugars out of my diet (I had a serious addiction to diet sodas and low cal foods), so it's going to be really weird to bring them back
Thanks for all of your help, AS!

Jellies have not gotten the resutls we'd like to see for me to suggest them as a replacement for the more effective forms of swaying. THey got identical success rates both for those using them and those not using them, indicating they are not helping. Plus, they really lower odds of conception.
ANY change you make in a pink friendly way will still help. You do not need to be miserable on LE Diet. Just do what works for YOU.
Skipping bananas and potatoes will do nothing whatsoever for your sway. My daughter is like 30% potatoes, I ate them several times a week. Cutting out meat may help, though.
You do not need the fake sugars, I doubt they do much of anything.
Above all else I'd stick with the one attempt if you're not doing much else in the way of swaying. Very important.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks again for answering my questions, Atomic!!!
In regards to the "one attempt", I am having a super tough time deciding when to do it, and how to "instruct" my husband to behave () in the weeks prior.
He's a "busy" guy when it comes to cleaning out the pipes (1-2x day, not including any BDing), so I know that abstaining will NOT be okay with him.
With that said, should he keep doing his thing daily and/or DTD (we both hate condoms, so I might just have him pull and release elsewhere) and then have a cut-off? What would you suggest, 2 or 3 days? I tend to have EWCM for around five days total, if that matters at all.
Thanks!

I do not recommend cutoffs at all ever. i think the easiest way is just having an attempt at pos OPK, it's best odds of conception with swaying and one attempt, plus takes most of the guesswork out of it. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...le-timing.html
When it comes to adding frequency (the instructions for DH) that is largely at your discretion. Some people do both frequency and one attempt, others do only one or the other. Frequency has gotten mediocre results and I am moving away from it all togehter in favor of emphasizing the number of attempts.
one of my main rules of swaying is "if daddy ain't happy, ain't nobody happy". so if he normally releases daily, I'd have him continue that unless it becomes apparent that it is preventing conception.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Great thanks!
My problem with opks is that my surge is SHORT and the opk only picks up a faint line as I am also getting O cramps. I never get a second positive, even hours later.
I took four tests on CD20 this month (10am, 2pm, 6, 9) and I only got a faint + at 6.
I am a CD20 Oer
What do you recommend with this scenario? I wish I had a standard 12-36 hour "warning"

In that case I generally recommend either DTD the day before you expect to O (if you ahve a fair level of confidence about what day that will be, with the understanding that swaying can change this) OR the DTD every 4 day method.
