Some techs have zero people skills my friend had the same, she said she maybe had a girl how unfair is that, she walked away totally confused! She didn't know for sure until 28 weeks when she had a private 3d scan. I personally would pay the 80 pounds if you can afford it x

WOW. They wouldn't even let you see the screen!? how rude! I see what you are indicating and MAYBE its boy parts but is seems a bit high up in relation and COULD be the cord. I agree if you can afford the elective ultrasound and NEED to know then get it done. If you are content to stay on team green til the birth then by all means go that route! If I were in your shoes I'd have some words with that technicians boss.
especially with that I think its a girl but it could be born a boy part... I know our hospital saves on computer the images that were taken so that way a doctor can properly review them. Maybe call and ask if you can make an appointment see those images.

Yes private scans are expensive, but if you can afford it, it's so worth it!

I think the tech probably is really unexperienced (that's why he/she didn't tell you gender with certainty at 20weeks) and I would pay for a private scan not only for gender issues, but mainly because I wouldn't trust anything he/she said about the overall anatomy of my baby.
I don't mean to stress you out, it is only what I would do.

The Doctor told me something similar with my oldest daughter's ultrasound and she was born a girl. I can't tell you from the pic though. Good luck.
