Please nobody go look these up and draw any conclusions at all. These are just such small sample sizes that we couldn't know anyway.

Aargh! The December treats are already tempting me!
Cake, chocolate and savoury snacks everywhere!
Am I the only one struggling to resist?!

No, you are not the only one struggling! The last couple days I have been so tempted to cheat, I think part of the problem is AF is coming and that's why I've been eyeing up my son's chocolate advent calendar and wondering if anyone would notice if I helped myself to one (or all!)

I can't help buying seasonal treats (mostly sweets, baked goods) but I freeze anything perishable and the rest I just eat small portions of. I'm already planning a big belated Thanksgiving (my favourite secular holiday) and a tasty Hanukkah dinner with English influences (roast goose, my grandma's plum pudding), for whenever I am finally pregnant. So I'm not skipping the holidays, just postponing. In the meantime, I eat a few bites of poultry and load up on veggies & carbs when I'm out, that happens 1-2x a month. I think being on the diet so long - over a year on and off - has helped me relax while without losing control. I can have anything I want, just some things I can only eat a tiny amount. It works for me.

I will say I'm not losing weight, just holding steady for over 2 months now, but my body really likes to gain weight in the Winter and I'm technically underweight, so I think holding steady is a reasonable compromise.

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I am doing the same thing Maiden! I too eat what I want, I either budget for it, or I have a tiny amount. Lately I have been under on calories and fat, so I treat myself to either a square of milk chocolate or a small ice cream sandwich after dinner! The diet has gotten way easier for me, and I cannot imagine going back to how I used to eat! I think this diet has permanently changed me, both in the way/how I eat and mentally! I am so different now! Definitely not a control freak/micromanager!

I've been finding last few days a struggle due to Christmas get together a with lots of tempting snacks! I have just not had a meal and counting a bunch of snacks as my meal! I know this isn't ideal and prob bit higher in fat but better than meals and snacks! Also been making sure I do my hour on treadmill so that I'm covering sway in that respect! Hoping I'm still doing enough. My weight not increased so hoping still ok for try on Hogmanay!

Dietwise I've been back on track the past week after a few days of almost-snacking/4 meals daily a bit after O. I'm 12DPO, been testing since 7DPO, still getting BFNs but using poorly rated cheap strips, also fairly dilute urine. If I haven't gotten AF by Tuesday I will try one of my precious FRERs.
