Atomic, I read some studies that said that high sugar (glucose) helps a male fetus thrive. I'm thinking of drinking regular Coke because it has the lowest pH but I was nervous about the sugar and no aspartame (I will be getting aspartame in my gum and candy and will be putting water in a shot glass and downing crystal light). What do you think? I conceived my only DD drinking regular coke about 3 times a day and literally no water, no milk. I know it was really bad for me but I'm thinking of doing the same thing this time.

Well, actually it's medium levels of glucose that help a male fetus - no egg develops well in very high glucose levels.

Blood sugar is a confusing thing for people to understand because when you eat sweets/carbs alone, your blood sugar does increase temporarily, but then for most of us, our body releases insulin and the insulin ends up lowering our blood sugar much lower than it would be if we had eaten nothing at all. So even though it seems counterintuitive, by drinking Coke you actually ended up giving yourself LOW blood sugar because your body released so much insulin to get rid of the sugar that you ended up lower than you were to start out with. (the exception to this would be anyone with blood sugar issues like insulin resistance and they should read this essay to understand how to tweak their sway.http://genderdreaming.com/forum/show...d-sugar-issues

If you eat sweets and carbs with protein, this rise and fall in blood sugar happens much more gradually and that's why blue swayers eat protein and carbs together. Carbs/sweets eaten alone, like you and your cokes, sway pink.

I think you are very wise to reinact the circumstances that got you your daughter the first time.

You are a superstar thanks! Ok so my thinking previously was that if you have real sugar, your body will want to conceive a boy because a boy will develop well in those conditions.....is incorrect because actually my blood sugar will crash to lower than it was to start with!!! Thanks a bunch you are such an incredible soul to help us all understand the things you know!! You should consider setting up a paypal thing for donations like Tamara did <3

Exactly! Unless you have protein WITH your sugar, because protein slows the increase in blood sugar and also keeps it steady for a longer time after eating.

Thanks so much for your sweet words!!!! It means a lot to me!!!

Hmm, I often have something sweet (like a cake or a biscuit) for pudding. Lunch is usually a sandwich or wrap and dinner is usually a variation of pasta. By having my sugar as pudding am I, in effect, cancelling out the benefit (for a girl sway) by eating it with the protein in my bread/cheese/pasta? Should I eat my sugar separately for my third meal?

I'm now on the sugar free gum - it's really helping with the tongue ulcers as it stops me rubbing them with my teeth!

Dumb q but is pudding the same as dessert??? So you're eating a sweet after a dinner where you ate protein and carbs, yes??

When you're on the girl diet, you're eating so little and so far between to begin with, that mixing protein and carbs at meals is ok to do. What you have to beware of is eating sweets (or ANYTHING, really) every 15 minutes thorughout the day and/or eating gargantuan Christmas-dinner style feasts that take 4 hours to digest after eating. If you eat small meals from the 500-800 calorie school of thought, a sweet along with that is just perfectly fine.

Sorry, yes - pudding, dessert and sweet are all words used for the course which comes after the main meal! My protein is almost entirely from bread, pasta and cheese and I might follow my cheese sandwich with a jam tart or my pasta and parmesan with a cake. I'm having 2 big meals and 1 small meal each day only though. I'm reassured that that's ok!
