If you're getting DHEA levels tested I always recommend waiting to get results. DHEA when you don't need it can mess things up.
But that having been said, 39 with a low AMH is somebody who may be getting into the age range wehre DHEA might help so it is something to keep in the background.

She was going HT for a boy. I do think DHEA may sway blue but if a person really needs it, it may be worth considering. My concern with the DHEA is not swaying necessarily, it's that I don't want people taking it if they don't need it because it can really mess you up if your levels are normal.

Don't give up! I also had a very low amh despite being very fertile! I tried 3 times and had 3 boys and was shocked ivf would not work for me. I bought a customized plan for swaying from atomic and have a beautiful 8 month baby girl! I still pinch myself everyday for her!
The sway worked the first month we tried! Now after going through swaying and reading about how boys/ girls are made, I know look at families and say yep I know why you have girls or boys. The data makes sense. Don't give up hope there are other options beside ivf. Good luck3 Beautiful Boys7

Awww honey don't lose faith. I had a friend that was told they could never conceive. So after hearing that they gave up on the idea entirely. Fast froward; she was falling ill due to something and had to antibiotics and other meds and she got pregnant and had their first DD!

Numbers only tell you so much. Women with undetectable AMH have kids all the time. Please don't give up! *hugs*
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period
