Starting 2nd month of TTC, please give advice on some possible change ups!

I think option 4 would be the best for you - 7 day frequent release stopping the am before O making sure more than 1 lot of that release is inside perhaps on alternate days, simply because there's the added risk of birth defects from abstaining in general

I am thinking of changing up a few things but I am not sure if I should. With my timeline I only have this month or next month to get pregnant or we are stoping untill next April so I REALLY need to get pregnant, but I REALLY REALLY want it to be a girl.....soo....
Last month we did:
14 day abstain then one time two day cut-off, hot shower that time
-then did two day release until one time o+12, hot bath (hubby said too much, he had a hard time releasing and he said it did not feel like much)
DH is on licorce root too. I did douche and rephresh every three days and some aci-jel with the O+12. Also did zyrtec.

so thinking this month to do:
DH still on licorce root but maybe only hot showers before attempts not bath
10 day abstain then DTD night of 3 day, then morning and night of 2 day. With I mean days before O. And I will not do the o+12 this time. i think I just do not feel comfortable with the close to O time with my history of when I conceived my boys. I am hoping with the abstain then the 3 times within 24 hours I might get some more spermies up there to do the job but still keep sperm count somewhat lower. What do you guys think? Also I will still do the douche and represh every three days ending on the am before my attempts start. That should keep me good through O.
Diet and supps all remain the same of course!

That is def. overkill if you're in a hurry to get pg. I would pick EITHER douche or RepHresh or Acijel, not all three together. Nothing will get through all that!!

I personally think it is best to do just one attempt with abstaining but I understand if you want to do 2 or 3. I do think your odds are much greatly increased with a one day cutoff. I totally agree about the O+12 because I don't even think 99% of people are even able to get pg from O+12 and most of the so-called O+12 were actually closer to O.

I just want to float the idea that licorice root AND hot bath AND abstinence may be too much for your husband's sperm to take. I would lose the hot bath and maybe consider switching to FR - but if he can't do that, then abstinence is great too.

Or should I do 12 day abstain then do a one shot the am of the day before O, so that would only really be a one day cut-off? I don't know. I just wonder what is better....the one shot deal...even though it would be less cut-off? Or gettinga bit more up there with the two day cut-off....yikes! I want to pregnant but I NEED to stay in as much girl territory as possible. Not that I won't love and want a boy just this is my last shot for a girl so I really want it! LOL

With a 12 day abstain you may NEED to DTD without a long cutoff because there will be less sperm and they may not be as hardy.

personally I think if you want to get pregnant fast you should DTD on OV day - even if you conceived sons on OV day before, you are now doing many other things to sway and the studies do show that the timing doesn't sway even on OV day so it was probably luck (or other unintentional blue things) that got you your DSs before. Even if you DTD on OV day you only have a 30% chance of pregnancy each month if you are at your most fertile and pink swaying will reduce that further by making you less-fertile. If you do ANY cut off, you will reduce your chance each month to below the 30%. If you're doing the diet and the rephresh as well as other things to sway, I think the timing shouldn't be a worry for you.

So Atomic...between these two options which would you do:

7 day abstain, DTD pm of 3 day and am and pm of 2 day before O then nothing

Of 9 day abstain dtd am of 1 day before O only.

I don't know....maybe I am overkilling but I so want it to be a girl! I am so afraid of boy number 6! Not that I don't love boys I adore my boys but it would just mean no girl since this is our last for sure.

No, I totally understand!!! In that case, do what you feel like you need to do and then if, God forbid, an opposite happens you can walk away knowing you did everything you possibly could.

I would pick option B. Longer abstain and only BD once will be working for you and I really don't think timing sways.
