I think most docs would have you take a month off in between. But I would definitely TRY even in the off month.

Atomic, my doctor wants to cut me down to 25 mg this month and test my progesterone 5dpo. Is 25mg even worth trying?

I should add she wants to cut me to 25mg because I had 4, maybe 5 follicles last month on 50mg. I think this is because I switched to cd 3-7 vs 5-9 because of my short cycles, which she doesn't know.

After this coming month, she will try femera on me if Iam still unsuccessful.

Do you still recommend frequent bd on clomid? If so, how does that work?

Under normal circumstances I don't recommend 25 BUT since you've been on Clomid so long, I think it actually may help. Maybe the 50 is just too much for you.

She said it wasn't recommended as it didn't benefit a sway and would deplete sperm count. I am not 100% certain that what I saw in sways was truely fr bd. Many started around o-5 or o-3 and continued through O.

I wouldn't recommend it for someone just starting off on Clomid, but after a few cycles it starts to have a cumulative effect.

Guys, my time is severely limited so it really helps me if you guys do some of the legwork. I know it's a pita to take a few minutes to look up a post but its even more of a pita to me to have to take 20 minutes to answer a question I just answered. :/

Frequent BD thru O is starting after AF and BD every single day thru O and I DO NOT recommend that for Clomid because it depletes sperm count too much, although it can sway pink, it is not a good idea in this scenario because it does not help raise the odds of conception any, so you take the chance of several attempts (which may or may not matter, we honestly don't know) for no benefit to conception

What you're describing with the daily sex for a few days is NOT frequent BD thru O. What those people did is the worst idea which is having several attempts in the fertile window. 3 attempts in fertile window got 40% pink. While 4 attempts was a bit better I think that was a fluke (because most of the people who did that were on Clomid) and it is ALSO not going to necessarily help you conceive because O can be totally unpredictable on Clomid - you may O really super late and then that ends up being tons of attempts and DH could be shooting blanks by the time the egg shows.

Best odds of conception under any circumstances - SMEP If you are ready to get pg, do SMEP. Don't do frequent BD thru O or even plan for lots of attempts around O because you may O late!!
