Just finished it! I loved every bit of it and even had to see the movie after. It was really good, but of course didn't have 1/2of the detailed story as the book did. It was so full of suspense that one night I was walking upstairs to bed, book in hand, and I sat down on the steps to read "just a little more." I went to bed an hour laterIt's an easy read and I would recommend it to anyone!
Flava, it's about a group maids (the help) who work for a group of snobby white women in the early 60's. One of the white women, Skeeter, who wants to be a writer, teams up with the maids and writes a book about their experiences working for the white women. It is written from two of the maids, and Skeeters' points of view. There were good, bad and ugly experiences for each and all of them, and it was an amazing book! If you google a description of the book, you should find a better explination than what I just said, that shows how it's more exciting than my description![]()

I lOVE this!! Persistence and determination are fabulous personality traits that I hope to pass on to my kids. I do believe there is a time to quit when it comes to high tech, however there are so many things in life where only good can come be persevering (if you can handle the rejection along the way). Great book too! Made me miss the SE.
