I think I came across ig when I was looking for timing (shettles) and learned about the potassium thing and a bunch of ph stuff but I believed that timing was the answer (when clearly it wasn't).
I can't remember exactly how I found this site but it made sooooo much more sense - but Ya, it's more fertility friendly here and probably more ideal for gals like me who just don't have a ton of time. I'm glad I tried the vitex. I wanted to try "something" Ya know?
On another note - kinda unrelated. I'm pushing one thing out of my head as I heat up for bd.... And that is the one attempt. It's all I had with all 4 I believe (the last two for sure). But then I wasn't on LE, it was HE with protein at every meal and even though it was lower calorie and got smaller I let that go at the end and probably gained 5 pounds at the point of conception.
I am happily at the weight I was when I conceived ds4, (125lbs @5'2 bmi 23 I believe) but was hoping to be a teensy bit tinier. I still have fat stores that I wanted to bust off.
Not a big deal but I'm trying to be "mary" about the situation. Trying not to compare all my conceptions.

That's why timing hung on as long as it did, is because it's an "oh of course" thing. But dude looked thru a microscope and thought he saw big X and small Y - HE DIDN'T. Thought he saw fast Y and slow X - HE DIDN'T. And thought that X lived a long time and Y died fast. HE DIDN'T. He saw capacitated and uncapacitated sperm. This we know as a true fact. Can't be true, doesn't work, to infinity and beyond. He was wrong.
You can't possibly believe that the reason you got a boy was because you had one attempt, right? It's NEVER one thing and it for sure isn't THAT one thing. If one attempt swayed blue, we'd be getting drastically different results.
THe thing you have to ALWAYS remember is that if you are superduperly fertile, and CAPABLE of getting pg from one attempt (especially when badly timed like those old Shettles attempts on O for a boy used to be) then you are probably coming into TTC more set for blue to begin with. That doesn't mean that one attempt sways blue, even if 99 out of 100 people get boys doing it, if 100 out of 100 of those people SHOULD have gotten boys for other reasons it is still swaying pink, if that makes any sense.!!! I do get it. I am super duper fertile (not sure atm - think I'm less so than with the others - fx?) but thank you again for reminding me of the whys. I'm obviously more set for blue but happy I have done a good job pinking my life a little
