Metformin and clomid....please help

Metformin comes in 500mg or 1000mg. I've been on it for 7 years now. You should start out taking 500 once a day for about a week then move up to two of the 500's a day. Always with meals. Metformin is known to cause upset belly/diarrhea and it does in everyone I've known who take it. Some people take as much as 1500-2000 mg/day. I was on 2000 for a couple years but my stomach couldn't handle it anymore. This is really something you shouldn't take without a prescription though. If I were you I would do no more than 500 mg one time a day.

Yes thank you that is what I meant. I just forgot the extra 0 at the end. Sorry for confusion I had just been discussing Clomid and had a "brain fart" LOL.
