Bad news at Ultrasound, what was your experience?

Oh mommy I hope you are ok. Sending big hugs and lots of positive thoughts! FWIW my eldest measured 2 weeks behind from 12 weeks right up to 36 weeks when he measured only 1 week behind. My dates were spot on, he was just small xxx

I'm not sure if you will want to read my story because it didn't end well but I was measuring further behind than you so your odds are better.

Anyway, at my 7wk scan the baby was measuring about 5w 3d and they couldn't detect the heartbeat but I don't think she looked that hard because she just assumed it was too early. I had a scan 10 days later and the baby had only grown 1 day more and had a very faint HB but I didn't get a bpm measurement. I miscarried about 4 days later

I also had little in the way of my usual pregnancy symptoms, my hcg wasn't going up very fast and also tiny amounts of spotting which was all different to previous pregnancies.

I really hope your outcome is different and everything is ok! I hope my story hasn't upset you.

I would put your ovulation at a day later so only 3 days off in that case

You did not upset me, I am so grateful that you shared your story with me. I am desperate to know peoples stories. Hardly anyone on BabyCenter or yahoo came back to update their threads. I am so sorry for your loss

I don't have any advice or anything to add. Just want to tell you I am sorry and I hope that things start picking up for your little one.

My ultrasound isn't until Friday but blood work yesterday showed HCG numbers are dropping.
