Why can't they just say things like "you'd make a beautiful girl" or "you'd be a great mom of a boy or a girl!" Why do they have to feel the need to put everyone down or argue about things they obviously have no clue about!

I can't even talk to my family about it because they tell me how none of the stuff applies to them (my mom ate like a pig and never exercised but got two girls, and my sister got one of each without changing a thing) or they say "you're going to end up with 6 boys!" despite knowing our plan has always been 4 kids, even if we'd had a boy and a girl already. It's so bad that even though we were team green for both our boys, I'm planning on finding out the gender if we get pregnant again, and not telling anyone we found out if it is a third boy, because I don't want to spend the rest of my pregnancy hearing "I told you so" or "you'll just have to try again for your girl". I'm so thankful DH is 100% behind me on all this, because I would be completely hopeless otherwise.

My partner is great . he desperately wants a little girl to. We only want one child so hope it works! We disscuss the latest things on here a lot . I'm not saying anything more to any one else though ....especially my sisters haha. My nan was awful to one of my sisters when she had her baby years ago now. My nan was like " uh its a boy." In a really nasty way .my sister wanted a boy. Its weird when she was 15 she said she knew when she was going have a kid she was going to have a boy and call him Ryan. 5 years later she did! I don't know why she was being funny with me when isaid I want a girl when she said she wanted a boy. Bizarre ! But there you go. Definitely just keeping it to my self and partner and you guys now.less pressure .x
