I would like to summary my questions about the diet. Atomic maybe you can give me an advise? I m really depressed, because I dont know what to do for the best...

    1. I m 1,58 m high and my weight is about 42 kg. So you see, I have nothing to loose on weight....
First I thought It would be better to gain a bit weight, but after reading all the stuff here, I m nervous about this thought...

    2. When I conceived my son ( it was with a hormontheraphy) I remember that my diet unknowingly corresponded to the LE -Diet with regard to the lower calorie, lower protein and lower fat....the only thing was, that I liked to snack between the three meals of a day. It was not much, but I was snacking really all the day a bit. Times an apple, times some chocolate-raisins or jelly sweets, times a yoghurt and other things...
But all in all, my diet was healthy with much vegetables and fruits, yoghurt and multigrain bread.
Maybe thats the key for me especially? To delete the snacking?

    3. I dont know exactly how much calories I m collect a day, but I think its about 1200-1300. My weight dont change. I m always switch between 42 kg and 43 kg...
At breakfast I eat a multigrain roll with cheese or cotton cheese, marmelade or honey and one black tea or coffee with a bit of milk.
At lunch I eat times pasta with tomata sauce, times white rice with fishsticks , times rice pudding with fruits and things like this..
At dinner I eat again a multigrain roll (sometimes a white roll) also with same things like at breakfast.
And beteween this meals I ate some jelly sweets, fruit and vegetables, joghurt or ice cream...

My thougth was to eat all the snacks with my 3 meals ? By the way I have breakfast at about 11 o clock...

    4. Does it count as an sway , if I would try to eat a bit more but only have three meals without snacking?
In addition FR and one attempt.

    5. By the way I m going to have a Hormontheraphy next time again. The last times it works fast to get pregnant..

    6. I think the whole diet depressed me so much that I loose weight How I can get relaxed about it?
Are there any examples of underweight persons who gain a bit weight and get however a baby girl?
    I m so sad, because I think I m doomed

Thanks for reading my post. I hope you have any tips for me

Can anyone put my mind at ease?

May it suffice only to care about the one attempt and trying not to snack between the meals for lower sugar levels ?
I think that all the diet stuff makes me crazy

Anyone under BMI 21 should NOT lose weight and just try and hold steady. Our bottom cutoff for minimum weight is BMI 18.5 meaning I do not want anyone below that weight. The advice to lose weight has never been intended to apply to someone who is already too thin.

I would be happy to see you gain a bit of weight. Weight loss/gain alone has not been a very effective tactic anyway - many people who lost weight still had boys, and some who gained weight had girls. It is ok for you to gain some weight.

I would suggest being sure to eat 1 serving of full fat dairy a day, 8-12 eggs a week, and a serving of red meat and a serving of salmon every week.

1)I want you to gain weight. It doesn't have to be a huge amount but i am happiest when you ladies are between BMI of 18.5-21. Even a tiny amount just a few ounces, may help.

2)What I think is best is that you have 3 meals a day, such as 11 am, 5 pm, and then a bedtime meal, (or whenever works for you, but eat THREE times a day) and have all the food you normally eat at those times. Snacking all day long may sway blue.

3)I would like to see what happens if you increase calorie intake to 1500. That is still in LE Diet limits and I think will really help you get and stay pregnant. I also want you to be certain you are eating 40-60 g of fat. I think you are eating too little fat.

4)Yes, it still counts as a sway. Any changes you make still count as a sway. We have seen many ladies lose lots of kilos and still get boys, and others gain weight and get girls. It can be done!

5)The hormone therapy (I am assuming you will get Clomid or a similar medicine) will help sway pink. It isn't foolproof as you know, but it does help.

6)You are not doomed!!! Try to remember that most people in the world have a boy or a girl without even trying!! They don't change their diets or do anything any different. Having one boy doesn't mean you are "set" for boys! I got 4 boys over 20 years and still got a girl - if I can do it, you can too! We have had many ladies gain a bit of weight and still get a girl, in fact some of our blue swayers who wanted boys, even gained 20 or 30 pounds eating the boy diet, and had an opposite, they got a girl instead. IT happens going both ways - people eat a boy diet and gain weight and get a girl anyway. This is possible. Please don't despair!

One attempt has gotten great results and you'll also have the hormone therapy working for you. I would just eat what you normally eat anyway, plus add in the full fat dairy, try to have it with meals and not snacks, and you'll have a good chance.

Thank you very much for your advise Atomic !!

Your words put my mind at ease. Thank you ! Maybe its all a fate? However all the tips and stuff about diet whirr in my head...and I would like to try something at least

Atomic, what do you think about multigrain bread? Is it better to eat white bread or multigrain bread is ok?

"I would suggest being sure to eat 1 serving of full fat dairy a day, 8-12 eggs a week, and a serving of red meat and a serving of salmon every week."
--> 8- 12 eggs a week?? Is this not too much protein? And what about meat? I thought it would be better to be vegetarian?

" I also want you to be certain you are eating 40-60 g of fat. I think you are eating too little fat."
--> What is more important in the LE diet? The fat or the protein amount?

Hormontheraphie: Why do you think that this maybe helps for swaying pink? By the way, it isnt clomid but Gonal injections.

Thanks for trouble to answer my questions!

It's not all fate or our results wouldn't be what they are. But you already HAVE a lot going for you. Your diet is already pink friendly, your BMI is already low, and you only have ONE boy. Most people end up with 1 B and 1 G without swaying at all, and I feel like you are working yourself into the type of frenzy that possibly sways blue when you're already probably sitting in a good spot dietwise to conceive a girl.

Multigrain bread (which is usually wholegrain but not always) is a very big unknown for swaying. There is evidence pointing both ways and so for now I leave that up to the individuals. My recommendation in the standard LE Diet is white, for PCOS/egg quality diet it's wholegrain. I honestly do not know which is better.

YOU ARE NOT OVULATING ON YOUR OWN. This is not normal and is not a healthy place to start off a pregnancy. That is why I am recommending you eat meat, eggs, and dairy foods. You need to gain a small amount of weight and I think it is far better to do that eating foods that may help you get and stay pregnant. It is impossible to have it both ways - to both fix your fertility issues and to stick to a strict pink sway diet. It just cannot be done. If you insist upon swaying pink, continue doing what you're doing and just drop the snacking, like you stated before. Personaly I think you need to do something different here, but that is not for me to decide.

We do not know which is better for swaying, protein or fat. Fat does seem to be better at restoring ovulation than protein hence my recommendation. 40-60 g of fat is STILL LE Diet range.

Both studies and our results have shown that Clomid and Femara sway pink. We don't have enough info on gonal injections but my suspicion is that they also probably sway pink.

I thought white bread and white pasta should be avoided on regular LE because it's made with enriched flour? I know everything is ok in moderation. Sorry for butting in.

No, it's fine in moderation. It's very difficult to get unenriched bread products. That would be just anohter thing to stress over!

Wholegrain vs. white is one of the biggest things that I am undecided about. there is evidence pointing both ways and I really am not at all sure which is best.
