I'm doing better than I thought! I was so worried I'd cry on hearing 'it's a boy' but honestly it was just so lovely seeing him on the screen, in that moment I really didn't care.

I didn't get a chance to sway- came of birth control pills and planned to try 'properly' for a girl after my next 'real' period but ended up getting pregnant straight away.

This is our last baby and while part if me is sad that I won't ever experience raising a girl I'm going to make sure I cherish this little one and make the most of everything. They don't stay little for long!

I'm glad I found out at 16 weeks rather than waiting until 20 weeks- I was so convinced I was expecting a girl I was browsing little dresses and girly nurseries and picking girl names with DH- if I'd had another 4 weeks of that I think I would have been crushed at finding out I'm having a boy at that point- it probably makes no sense!

Congrats on your baby boy [emoji170] I don't think this is a potty shot, to me it looks like the big circle is the top of its head, the 3 lines nearby it's fingers? And the rest of his body stretched out with his little leg at the ends. I can see what would be the goods between his legs.

Thankyou mammacass Would the goods bit be kind of triangular in shape?
Nora, would you be able to double confirm for us here when you get your 20 week scan, only if that was the angle the tech guessed off then its not the best, she probably had lots of uncaptured flashes but the pic is a little confusing
