Wonderful, OK no antihistamine, asprin or peppermint tea. I think I'll just use the tiniest amount of Sylk to make things comfortable. Re: mirena removal, I could potentially have it removed before AF this month, would that be better do you think? To be honest it's more important to give myself the best chance of swaying girl, although hubby will be cranky with March I don't care. So if having the mirena out after AF is better for swaying girl (even if it delays O) then I'm happy with that!

Hi! I am also TTC my second girl to complete my family, my DD is 6 and really wants a sister since I got pregnant with my DS who just turned 2. I am already TTC and hoping it worked this month lol, I agree with no Antihistamine
LE Diet, cardio, alcohol, and 1 attempt in fertile window is great sway results. It is currently what I'm aiming for and been doing minus cardio, im under weight.
Best of luck to you!!DS *11/07*

Also, I had mirena For 4 years, and I got pregnant after one period from removal, which was a super light period and still got pregnant and had a miscarriage around 5 week. I did get pregnant again the following month with my youngest my DS, but just be careful, some women off mirena and getting pregnant really quickly isn't recommended, but every women is different.
Just be sure to take folic acid I'm sure you'll do fine.
Staying on the diet I think is most importantDS *11/07*

Hi Princess Mom, yes I know what you're saying, I have also heard of women having miscarriages soon after the Mirena removal. I guess I'm hoping that if I do get pregnant the first month then hopefully I'll be lucky and not experience a miscarriage. When will you POAS? Fingers crossed your sway worked xx

Sooner to have Mirena removed means sooner to ovulate. I do think even a week or two could def. make the difference in getting in with a Feb. attempt.
We do not have the type of data to say in terms of your sway. I think it would sway pink regardless.!!! Questions??

I'm so pleased I'm not the only one trying for a second little girl. I was starting to feel like a greedy guts over here. Lol!
Princess Mom - I hope you get your second little girl. Did you say you haven't done any cardio this time as you're a bit underweight? I'm in similar position. I love exercising but I can't afford to lose any weight either.
Family matters - good luck to you also. I hope you get your second little girl. It's wonderful having one of each gender but would be even better to have two of each gender I think.

2019. My longed-for baby girl (DD2) arrived into the world safe and sound on 13th June 2019 . We named her Lucia Anna Catalina. I still can't believe she is here and often have to pinch myself. I am one VERY blessed Mumma. She also has a dimple like her big sister.

Hi Familymatters. Wow! I just saw that you are in Melbourne. So am I. Lol! I was hoping for our attempt to be this coming weekend, but that is if I can convince my DH in time. If not, it will be the following cycle. I am in my early 40s so I don't have time on my side to sit around waiting for too long. Originally my DH had agreed to just ONE try but then a week ago he changed his mind. I'm hoping to change it again though. I've been doing the Atomic Fertility Diet the best I can, taking Coq10 and 2000mcg folic acid. And I'm hoping to BD every 2-3 days with condom and the one big shot one the day of pos OPK. I'm just doing a relaxed sway this time as last year in June I did a full on IG sway and got pregnant but then had a traumatic miscarriage in August. Anyway, good luck to you. When are you doing your first go?

I tried to PM you but you don't seem to have that function enabled on your profile. Another Aussie - a Melbournian to be precise - how fab! I have always hoped and dreamed of 2 girls and 2 boys. I too felt guilty/greedy for this with so many women just dreaming of having one DD (let alone two), but to be honest i think it's got a lot to do with my wish to give my DD a sister. I had one brother, and he has never been interested in a relationship with me, unlike my closest girlfriends who all have the most amazing relationships with their sisters.
I'm sorry to learn of your miscarriage, that can't have been easy, especially after putting in so some effort with a hardcore sway. I am not going gangbusters with this sway because it's not in my nature. When I conceived my DD (she was an accident) it was when we DTD just once, about 3-4 days before O. I had a boy friendly diet back then, but I drank a lot of alcohol and had a bit of a party lifestyle (I was 25), so I'm sure that helped girl sway. When I conceived my boys I had the perfect boy friendly diet (loads of snacking, breakfast every morning, minimal caffeine, no alcohol, heaps and heaps of protein etc) plus because I wanted to make sure we fell pregnant that month, we DTD every second day from the end of AF and then once near O we dtd every day! So so much b'ing, hubby was in heaven lol. So yeah no wonder I got two boys!
So this sway I'll just have the one attempt. Have you considered clomid? I'm on the fence about whether to try it? But seeing as though we have one chance in Feb I'm thinking maybe I should take it, just so I make sure I O' after the mirena removal?

people do have losses anyway, of course. I have seen plenty of successful pregnancies coming off Mirena so I wouldn't overhink this too much
